“The best flight ever!”

My very first time in a hot air balloon and I had mixed feelings however it turned out to be fantastic. A group and I were traveling through Cappadocia and our guide recommended this company to us. They picked us up at our hotel and off we went! They served us champagne at the end as well. What could be better?

“an excellent "a lifetimes's experience" as they said.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

Captain "Turgut" (Serkan) was very kind, professional and communicated good with passengers and the Crew. Landing was smooth like a "butter". This was really appreciated because of the children.
When you wake up early before sunrise, you would expect something cold but the waiting lounge was warm, cookies and coffee was ready.
Champagne ceremony was also surprisingly well organized.

If you have returned from Cappadocia without having a Baloon Tour, you should came back and try this "life times experience" with its own master which is the very first company, Kapadokya Baloons.

“Excellent”

First, do remember to prepare accordingly: it's quite cold and might be windy up there (a cap and gloves are recommended).
Second, it's not that scary, even for people experiencing fear of eight (such as myself).
Third, the trips are only once a day (around dawn), which might be early (~5AM).
It is also not dangerous, since balloon pilots are just pilots - they must go through training and get necessary certificates. The result is that balloons hardly crash.

Then, the view is great - the balloon goes up and down several times; with skilled pilot (Nimesh was the captain of our balloon) the basket can slide on the hill tops and rocky ridges.
One can also experience the valleys of Kapadokya from above, with hundreds of balloons in the distance (there are a lot of them, all take off roughly at the same time).

All in all, I fully recommend to do it.

“Perfect.”

Firstly, as to the question of going on a balloon ride when in the region, it is simple - DO.

I am so glad I went for this company (being very scared about the idea of a hot air balloon ride, I made sure to spend a little extra to go for the company with the best reputation).

Many of the balloon companies take off and land in the same place. Kapadokya will take you to one of many different spots depending on the wind to ensure you get the best journey. While other balloons appeared to just go up and down again, we got a fantastic journey across the landscape. This also means you can get a breathtaking sight of all the other balloons all together.

The pilots were brilliant and knew all the little things of how to make this amazing experience even better, like allowing people to help deflate the balloon (more fun than it sounds).

A full breakfast buffet was included, which was nice as we weren't expecting it. I would say the value option if fine in comparison to their luxury offer, we still only had 2 people per compartment (though this was out of tourist season).

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

I needed to be talked into this experience and was reassured by our guide that this company was the oldest ballooning company in the region. (True or not, it did convince me). I wouldn't normally choose to be collected at 5 am but obviously you need a very early start. I was impressed by the waiting lounge and the standard of the bathrooms, and by the breakfast provided; also by the very friendly and helpful staff who kept us informed of progress on a wet and overcast morning. Our pilot stayed relatively low because of the overcast and his skill in manoeuvring the balloon was impressive! It was an amazing experience and should not be missed!!
