Stopped by for literally 10 minutes on the Southern Cappadocia tour. Where they used to train pigeons. Nice panoramic shot for photos. Really just a vista point but worth the stop on the tour for a photo op.

I am not sure if there is a walk you can do here. We got there early in the morning and it as a beautiful view down to the valley. I think it is named because of the thousands of pidgeons that live on the viewing area.

You can see the whole valley from the Uchisar village and castle but it's worth going through the valley as a trekking trip if you have time.

We did not walk this but stood at the top at Uchisar and then on the Panoramic viewpoint Goreme/Pigeon Valley. Spectacular views. We had a drink at the Balkon Hotel, Uchisar, at the head of the valley which is a lovely hotel and gives one of the best views. Looks like a good walk from the bottom of the valley to the top, not too long, also some interesting cave buildings on the way. Shall do it next time

What an amazing walking experience. We meandered through this rock-hewn valley with a surprise round every corner - it was like reliving history, difficult to imagine living this secret hidden life so long ago. Beautiful!
