“Outstanding place!”
Reviewed May 3, 2014

While staying in Goreme and enjoying its amazing nature my friends and I found this fantastic cafe. We could not even imagine that not only tasty food and drinks, but also unique and cosy atmosphere was waiting for us there! We used to come to the place couple times a day to have some homemade snack, drink turkish coffee and tea or just sit near the fire and talk about life with Harun - the host and the soul of the cafe. Really, what can be better than warm evening, mild wine or strong tea and interesting people who are ready to share their unusual ideas with the others?

“Cappadocian soul”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

Went to Cappadocia for 4 days in April 2014. 7 postgraduate students from Moscow. We stayed in Travellers Cave hotel and on the first evening we found this beautifull place. We understood that this place and it's owner has some magic attractivness at once. We had a great terrace in the hotel, but we prefer to spend our evenings in Art Cave Cafe. This place has a really nice atmosphere, best home wine in Cappadocia and the frendliest owner ever seen. We called this place "Cappadocian soul" We already miss this place.

“Experience that shouldn't be missed”
Reviewed April 25, 2014 via mobile

This is not exactly a cafe - it doesn't have full menu or waiters. But when you're in Gureme, tired of climbing mountains, in the middle of the hot afternoon or chilly evening, try to find this place (it's kind of tricky - the best way to do it is to follow 'travellers cave pension' sign and to stop before cave with green paintings on it). You can stop here for a couple of the best Turkish coffee, or a glass (bottle!) of home-made wine. The host is the most interesting man I met in Turkey, he doesn't care much about money, so prices are just the lowest. Food is not on the menu, but he'll probably bring you something. The cafe, which is in the actual cave, is full of art-pieces and flowers, there's always quiet, pleasant music, open fire at night, a place from which you can see stars, good company, some cats sneaking around. We were very lucky to find rthis place and didn't want to leave..

“Lovely spot for a cay!”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

Stopped in to this cafe, as the owner was so friendly (and nice to the colony of kittens that had made a home outside his cafe). Had a wonderful evening with tea in his beautiful cave. Will return for dinner tonight to enjoy a great, local, very reasonably priced experienc!
