We returned to this little corner cafe 3 times because the food was so good and so inexpensive. It doesn't look much but they have comfortable seats and the simple but freshly cooked food is delicious. Try the Saksuka (pronounced Sharksuka) - it is to die for! Really it is just a selection of vegetables fried in olive oil but it is so sweet and just soooooooo delicious, it's quite irresistible. the owner of the Rose shop next door is charming, funny and friendly. He speaks very good English and is often at the Maccan. We can thoroughly recommend his shop too and we had a lovely and fun time there too.

unassuming, modest and utterly delicious. A family run restaurant with none of the hype and price of other places, but the best food in town. Dont be fooled by its unassuming exterior. This is a great place to eat, the best testi kebab in Istanbul!

Maccan Cafe is in the corner of the bus station and therefore a good spot for some quick eats. The service is very friendly. Lots of people also tend to walk by, so it's also makes a nice meeting point. The food is tasty and the price level very reasonable. It is also possible to buy some take-away foods from there, good option before catching a bus.
