“Thanks for the lovely meal”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

My family and I visited this restaurant on our first night at Goreme, and we were welcomed warmly by the owner / staff. It is a cosy restaurant and we found the place kid friendly too, especially since we were travelling with 2 little ones. The food was hearty, delicious and of great value too! We had the lentil soup, yummy spicy appetizer, burger (for the kids), chicken in claypot, beef with rice and we were given a nice apple tea at the end of the meal. The juices are fresh and we expecially enjoyed the freshly squeezed pomegranate juice!

“Japanese food”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

We ate Sushi, Yakisoba, Tofu,Tamago-yaki, and Katsuo-tataki. They were very delicious. We went to this restaurant 3 times. If you want to eat Sushi, you need a reservation. Other turkish foods, such as Pottely Kebab and Rice pudding are also delicious. The Owner can speak Japanese very well and also very kind.

“best lentil soup in Goreme!”
Reviewed November 26, 2013

We tried lentil soup anywhere we could in Goreme... Sarmasik's won our lentil soup challenge hands down. The bread was amazing. The fried cheese rolls were fantastic. So was the chicken kebap clay pot, and the rice pudding, and the ravioli, and the service, and the staff, and the prices, and... Yeah, we ate here a lot. And we totally want one of those creepy cat posters when we get back to the US!

“Sushi at a Turkish restaurant!”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

Me and 3 other friends just got home from our Cappadocia trip.
We did not expect to eat sushi in a typical Turkish restaurant, but we found this tip on the internet.
The owner of the place and the cook were so sweet. We made a reservation the day before and when we arrived a beautiful table was set up. The food was just excellent.
I know sushi and back in Holland I eat it a lot, but this might be the best sushi I had.
It was so well prepared and you could really tell they enjoyed hosting the diner and preparing the food with care.
Thanks so much again! We ate it like a bunch of hungry dogs, but only because it was so good haha!

Greetings from the 4 dutch girls who were there last sunday.

“GReat cafe for relaxing and good meals at cheap prices”
Reviewed June 11, 2013 via mobile

I think this is the cafe with the cheapest and reasonable fare in goreme. More importantly the foods great! Portions to fill your stomach fully. The owners are friendly! Leave your mark in the restaurant by writing a poster... Best cafe to hang out in goreme so far. And the music's great'
