“The hot white light”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2014

Interesting landforms. Similar to northern Arizona or parts of New Mexico. Worth a visit if you are new to such desert landforms.
I walked it by myself, and there was a long hot walk back to the town center.

“Go at sundown”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2014

We hiked Rose Valley, which I think might be the same as Red Valley (not sure) in the morning and came back later at sundown. Plenty of parking both times if you rent a car. It was a beautiful view at all hours of the day, but when the sun hits it just right, the colors that come out are amazing! The hike was mildly strenuous in some areas. I would advise to wear good shoes. It was a nice place to watch the sun set and there was a wedding party taking photos with it as a back drop at the time. We had a bit of trouble figuring out the map, but didn't seem to miss out on much. This was one of the prettiest hikes we did in Cappadocia.

We took a tour and hiked Rose Valley. Gorgeous. But it was very steep and a little difficult walking. Wear good shoes.

“Peaceful and beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014

Our guide drove us up here, our first evening in Cappadocia. A panoramic view and a stirring sunset while snacking on an array of nuts, washed down with apple tea. A must-do in Goreme.

“Hike ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014 via mobile

A lovely walk, we walked to the open air museum and carried on walking up past Kaya camping where we joined the trail. A very interesting walk with lovely scenery, we also walked the Love valley a few days later and preferred the rose/red valley.
