Cappadocian cuisine is one of the best restaurants i have tried during my stay in Cappadocia..Its like your mom is cooking for you.. you feel home, you feel welcome, the owners are very nice people and the food is yummy!! you should try the pottery kebap, farmville chicken and gozleme with cheese and tomatoes.

This place is fantastic. They have the best service, very friendly. The food is the best food around and also cheaper than the other restaurants in town! I love Cappadocian Cuisine.

I agree with the reviews before this. We ate here after reading the great reviews. Haritma (the owner) greeted us as we came in. The decor is a little quirky, wood panelled walls, a wood stove in the center of the small restaurant, soccer jerseys tacked to the wall and a large wagon wheel chandelier. We ate the traditional pottery meal, chicken in the pottery cooked til juicy and tender with tomatoes and spices accompanied by homemade lentil soup (delicious!), rice and green salad. The kids, ages 5&9 ate gozleme which we had filled with potato and cheese and tomatoe and cheese. They were light and delicious. The service was fast and the meal was totally delicious. We were too full to have dessert. We came back the next day for lunch as we were keen for more lentil soup and gozleme. The friendliness of this family can be felt from the moment you enter the doors. As we were leaving, the owner kissed both my children and myself on the cheeks and thanked us for coming. Our dinner with 2 mains, 2 gozleme, glass of wine and 2 sodas was just over $50 lira, so reasonable. Highly recommend.

An excellent experience. We were treated as welcome guests, the food was very good, the service excellent, and the meal was very reasonably priced. The rice pudding was home made and the best we'd ever tried.

Food is good, but the hospitality is great! Definitely worth a visit while staying in Goreme. Pottery kebabs are good.
