“Excellent hotel, amazing staff!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013

I usually don't write any reviews on tripadvisor, however I felt compelling to share my excellent experience with Kelbek Hotel.

The view was simply outstanding. I could stay there and look at the scenery all day long. Breakfast was good, with many selections. Shower was also good, with hot water running properly. The room is a bit small, but with cave, the experience is just so unique and different from any ordinary hotel room we would usually stay.

The staff was just totally amazing. We were always greeted by everyone of them each time we see them. When we mentioned we needed to buy the bus tickets upon arrival to the hotel, the staff offered to book the tickets while we enjoyed the dinner. Also they gave us a very detailed information on the surrounding area, which was totally useful. Love Valley was not on our guidebook, but was recommended by the staff, and we really enjoyed walking around there.

During check-out, I started nosebleeding for some reason. The staff came to our room and took care of me, by giving us the ice and towels. Even the cleaning lady came and made sure I was Ok. They said we could stay in the room as long as we needed, even though it was passed the check out time. That was very nice of them.

Overall, we were really happy that we stayed here, and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Everything about Kelebek was so fantastic — the rooms, service, decor, location, view over Goreme, complementary breakfast — everything! My fiance and I also used the boutique hamam and got massages. And everything was great. I really can't say enough. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Cappadocia!

Can see why this hotel is rated #1. The moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The views were breathtaking and the organic breakfast trip gave us a great insight to the Turkish culture. Matt, the hotel manager, was more than accommodating with every question and request - even allowing us to use the hotels facilities after check out while waiting for our night bus. We will definitely stay here again!!!

We can't say enough wonderful things about the physical part of the hotel and the fabulous staff. This staff has attention to detail. We stayed two nights in room cave #12 and one night in room #5 which is a fairy chimney. Both were great. The breakfast is fabulous and starts at 7:30am. Lots to choose from for breakfast. The staff helped us to arrange day trips and excursions and one morning we did the organic breakfast were you go to the owners farm. When we come back to turkey we will most definitely stay here. They have wonderful cuisine for dinner and the BEST tea of turkey so far and I have drank my fair share everywhere we have gone. The Hamam was out of this world and if you have never had the experience do it here. Overall one of the best hotels my husband and I have stayed so far in our travel of the planet.

I and two friends stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The room was beautiful, the location was excellent but most importantly the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. If you stay here, make sure to try the 'organic' breakfast which involves a wagon ride to the nearby farm of the owner - beautiful views and a delicious breakfast. Also, the soap massage at the hammam is unbelievably good!

Kelebek was great. Stayed here with two kids (8 and 12) for a couple of nights. Also stayed at Argos and Kayakapi (just to try a few different places). We really enjoyed Kelebek and would definitely stay here again. The kids loved it. The hammam was warm and beautiful and the view of the Goreme valley from the breakfast terrace is fantastic! Mert, one of the managers, was extremely helpful and mapped out a great itinerary that we used all week.

We stayed (unfortunately only) 2 nights in June 2013 at this fantastic hotel, in cave room 116: a wonderful room with a cosy and tasteful decoration, nice bathroom and its own small balcony. Great choice at breakfast buffet, lovely comfy terraces and a great pool which we much appreciated upon return from sightseeing.
