I highly recommend this hotel if visiting Cappadocia. The staff was helpful in explaining all of the options in the area, getting dinner reservations and arranging transportation. The concierge, Unal was hilarious and did everything we asked for while at the hotel. They definitely are trying to make everything perfect for each of their guests. The pool was nice, and the hotel has a great morning view of the balloons. The garden breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey. The owner was a great story teller and prepared a beautiful place for us in his garden. The eating area is beautiful and at night is a great place to relax and use the wi-fi. The room was a comfortable cave temperature and fit us fine. The walk to down is only about five minutes and the hill on the way back isn't bad at all.

Room Tip: Choose a room using their website. The pictures are very helpful.

My friend and I stay 2 nights at the Kelebek hotel. We arrived early in the morning using their preferred shuttle and were immediately greeted warmly by staff. As our room wasn't ready we were shown to the breakfast area. We were immediately impressed by the beautiful views from the restaurant patio. We sat on the day beds on the restaurant balcony overlooking the town and used the available wifi until our room was ready. We stayed in room no. 10. This room is generous in size. As it is a cave room it didn't receive that much natural light. The bathroom was clean, though the shower head wasn't great and the toilet had trouble working at first. Other than that the rooms met our expectations. The staff were extremely helpful with organising tours and making bookings. Though they recommended we use their own tour companies and restaurant, we were happy to do so as they seemed to be the most reliable and successful businesses in the area! Our stay went very smoothly thanks to the helpful staff and beautiful buildings. My favourite part of my stay here were the communal areas. The views from the outdoor areas and rose garden are stunning!
I highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, Sultan Cave Suites or use any of their other services as they are top notch in the area.

Room Tip: Room 10 is okay if you don't mind lack of natural sunlight otherwise don't choose a cave roo...

This place is fantastic - it's special and gives a sense of being taken care of. The staff is very helpful with nothing being a bother. They drove us to the outdoor museum without charge and were happy to help us go to other places. The room was small but adequate. The breakfast was stunning. Located on a hill, it had beautiful views and soft breezes. Some large steps which could hinder some people.

Room Tip: You can select your own room from their website photos.

Kelebek is a wonderful experience: location, rooms, staff, facilities, all was perfect! we stayed in room 114, which was simply delicious, with a small private terrace, nice view and quiet position. Hotel has hamman and swimming pool, offers organic breakfast in a country house and everyone is helpful! don't miss it

Room Tip: junior suite (114) is very nice and spacious, room 5 is in the fairy chimney and is in an old chapel...

All of the staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful & friendly, which made our stay. For example: even though the hotel sold tours to the various local sights, there was no hard sell & the staff were happy to explain how to see the sights without a guide / on a budget.

The cave room we stayed in was smallish, but very comfortable & had amazing views over the town and surrounding valleys.

Breakfast is great (particularly the free organic breakfast tour - definitely worth getting up early for!), and there is free tea & coffee all day in the comfortable communal lounge area.

The pool & hamam were also great. I think the pool must be chilled, which was ideal given how hot Goreme is in Summer.

Highly recommended.

First there is the wonderful, friendly helpful staff: the charming manager sits down with each guest & helps them plan their stay, recommending tours or hikes, shops or resturants. The location is ideal, just around corner & up the slope from center of town, with wonderful vistas from the rooms, dining room, pool, patios. There is a terrific hamam for true Turkish pampering & a breakfast buffet that is endless, mostly from their own organic farm; a tour of which is a free option with breakfast out there instead.

EVERY room is beautiful & loaded with character (cave rooms, arch rooms, stone rooms) and you can reserve your own choice by reviewing the pics & description on their web site. There is free wireless in the sitting rooms, patios, dining room, garden, but does not penetrate the thick walls of most rooms.

Room Tip: Look at the pictures & descriptions & select your own choice. Room 20 is one of the few wit...
