“Unforgettable Experience”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

We really enjoyed our stay there in Vineyard Cave Hotel. Hospitality they have is one of the best among any of I have experienced in various countries. We really liked the family room we stayed and good welcomed atmosphere the hotel itself has. The guide tour taken by Hassan was much enjoyable as he had so much knowledge about the city of Cappadokia as well as the history. Osman was absolutely helpful for planning of our stay in many ways. Most importantly, we are really impressed with their reliable, passionate and warm-hearted personality. We would never for get the great experience. Big thanks to Hassan and Osman.

After looking for places to stay for a quick three day stay in Cappadocia I made a reservation at the Vineyard Cave. We decided to make this detour even though the weather can be spotty in March. It turned out we were the only guests for the time we stayed. Hasan and his son Osman couldn't have been more gracious and helpful.
Even in light of the freezing temperatures, the clouds and various freezing precipitation we got a chance to see most of what we planned opting out of a balloon flight considering the weather. One of the highlights was knowing we would be coming back to our room at the Vineyard Cave each evening. We are definitely coming back to spend more time in Goreme

Osman and his father Hassan were incredibly nice. You can really feel that they are passionate about what they do, and care so much about their home, Göreme. They are very informative, and they give you a ride to and from places you want to visit. They are always available if you need them. They are known around the village and people give you perks and discounts when you tell them Osman recommended you.

The B&B is very clean and comfortable. Close to very good restaurants, buses and hiking routes. Wifi is available throughout the B&B.

We chose this hotel as it is top rated on Tripadvisor. Hassan and Osan are a father son team that run this hotel. Rooms are great, but watch your head. Hassan is on the city council and has lived there all his life. He is a knowledgeable tour guide. He also knows carpets. They treat guests like family. A wonderful experience.

Room Tip: I only saw ours.

Hasan and his son, Osan were very helpful in making our trip enjoyable. Whatever we wanted, they were eager to accommodate us. Hasan was our tour guide for a day. He was great at showing us the sights and introducing us to relatives who sold pottery and jewelry, even though we were not quite expecting to visit merchants. He had a great sense of humor, as did his son. We ended up buying an antique carpet from him. He directed us to a great pilot who took us up in a hot air balloon - Butterfly Balloons with Mike Green. The experience was concluded with champagne and strawberries (at 8:00 AM)! Our visit to Cappadocia was a great start to our vacation.

I had perfect day in the vineyard cave hotel with my husband
Hotel owner Hassan and his son Ossman(?) are nice guys. They are always kind to us and hotel's breakfast is good and special scrambled egg is my favorite part of breakfast. Their recommendations are good except ATV tour. I think it is a little bit expensive ( 250 TL for 2hours / two atvs) but the others (green tour and balloon ) are perfect. Im now in Istanbul . I would miss them and vineyard cave hotel. Thanks for everything ^^

There’s nothing to say but that the Vineyard Cave Hotel is absolutely fantastic. Our cave room was cozy and comfortable, despite the February chill outside. Hasan, Osman and their entire family were so attentive to every detail of our stay. They were so welcoming, it felt almost as if we were guests in their home. Breakfast each morning was homemade and delicious.
When we said we were not that interested in going out with one of the tour groups in town, Hasan took us on a private tour built around what we wanted to see in the Cappadocia area. He is a wonderful guide, who includes his own personal history along with the amazing history of the area (and he knows the spots that have fewer tourists and better views!).
I hope to get back to Goreme soon, and will definitely stay at the Vineyard Cave!
