I only stayed one night on 13th Dec 2013 and felt that this hotel is located at a very convenient location as it's also near to the bus station as I needed to board a bus to Pammukale the next day. Had a great host - Osman that exlained to me all the options of visiting all the tourist attraction in Cappadocia without any obligation. I was lucky to be upgraded and giving options for all types of rooms even I paid a lower category. They prepared good breakfast and had a lovely stay. I would recommend and encourage first timer visiting Cappadocia to stay here as it's convenient and easy access to all amenities, cafe, convenient stores in Gerome. Apart from that, Osman also helped to arrange shuttle service from Kayseri Airport to his hotel and really appreciate all the effort and prompt reply.g

Room Tip: Email directly to the owner for special promo room rates and early arrangements before arriving.

Osman and Hasan treated us like family during our four night stay at their hotel. The hotel itself is lovely and the included breakfasts far exceeded our expectations. But what really set this hotel apart were the owners who helped arrange any tours we needed and spent hours discussing the culture and history of the Cappadocia area with us. They seem to genuinely enjoy what they do and are obviously in their "Sweet spot" working in the hospitality industry. We took a day tour with Hasan which was a little bit more expensive than some of the group tours in the area. It was well worth the minor additional expense for the personal touch. He went above and beyond to tailor the tour to our expectations and share the area from the point of view of one whose family has spent generations in this region. Also great location with easy walking distance to Open Air Museum, restaurants, and hiking in Pigeon Valley. Thank you for your hospitality, Osman and Hasan. You really made the experience very special for Troy and I.

We loved the Vineyard Cave Hotel. Hasan and Osman were wonderful hosts and we have only great things to say about our stay here. The location was perfect - walking distance to the Open Air Museum and good restaurants.

Hasan went out of his way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. For example, he woke up at 3:45am to make sure that our transportation to the Kayseri airport had shown up. If they hadn't, he was going to personally drive us to the airport to ensure that we didn't miss our super early flight back to Istanbul.

I also highly recommend doing the private tour with Hasan. He grew up in Goreme so knows the area incredibly well. He went at our pace and we had the chance to tell him what we did or didn't want to see. He took us to a ceramic shop and an onyx factory/store and at both places were were given 50% discounts because we were with him. We were not pressured to buy anything at either place, nor at Hasan's carpet store, all of which were great learning experiences.

We highly recommend the Vineyard Cave Hotel!

Room Tip: We chose a cave room and it was totally worth it. We were also amazed at how warm the room was. It...

We spent 4 highly enjoyable days at this wonderful boutique hotel located in the heart of Goreme, Cappadocia. The hotel has both arched suites and rooms directly in a Cave which is typical of the area. Rooms and bathrooms were of high standard. Ozman and his father Hassan could not do more to help us understand the history and guide us to the areas most unusual land formations and other places of interest. Their very warm hospitality helped greatly to make this a most memorable holiday in a most interesting world heritage site in Central Anatolia, Turkey

Room Tip: Arched rooms are larger and have more ceiling height. Cave rooms are typical of the area

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. From what we understand, this is a family run hotel. When we arrived late at night on 3rd Nov, Osman was there to greet us and he upgraded our room to a suite without additional charge. The room is huge, comes with a connecting room and an excellent bathroom. What you will notice is the level cleanliness is superb.

Breakfast is excellent. Hasan (Osman's father) made sure that everything is in order. Be sure to have the scramble eggs with olive oil. They are just fantastic.

Osman will explain in detail on the local attractions, available tour packages and alternatives based on your budget. We took the private tour which costs 55Euro per person. Hasan was our certified tour guide. The advantage of taking this private tour is we got to see local culture and been to places where normal group tours won't go.

In summary, we enjoyed our stay in Vineyard Cave Hotel very much. Both Osman and Hasan did their very best hosting us and we were amazed with their hospitality.

This is a moderately priced nice hotel but with exceptional service. After my arrival I discovered I had lost my wallet with all my money and credit cards in it, most likely at the airport in Istanbul. Osman went out of his way to help me and made numerous calls for me, gave me money, and turned what could have been a terrible situation into a manageable one. By some miracle my wallet was waiting for me at the lost & found at Keyseri airport, with all my money in it! the service and kindness at the Vinyard Cave Hotel cannot be beat!
