We went there the first day we arrived and we loved everything they brought to our table! Don't miss the plate of four/eight starters.

The food is quite nice here. I especially liked the Turkish bread they provided. Everything was flavorsome, however for the cost I would have expected more food. Massive amount of variety but the staff will help you decide if you want to try some different things.

After a couple of nights of less than amazing service and mediocre food, dining at Sedef was a real treat. We were greeted by one of the owners, who personally introduced himself and shook our hands and helped us select our entrees. We went for the full mezze platter which was an excellent choice, particularly with the Turkish bread - had been looking for authentic Turkish bread and Sedef's is wonderful, a great combination of light and flavorful to complement mezze or eat on its own. They also gave us complementary appetizers including this amazing spicy couscous - it looks like fake meat but in fact is just a delightful morsel of spicy couscous. I was shocked at how low the bill came out to be and think they could easily charge a lot more for the quality of food and service they provide. Look no further, just come here!

Pros:

Atmosphere
- Professional and on par with fine dining in the U.S. Not too dim with nice silverware and plates. The experience here yielded amazimg value for what we paid.

Service
- Extremely impressive service. Our server Hakki treated us like family, shaking our hands, memorizing all of our names, and telling us about the specials. He even surprised us durin dessert. All the services were wearing black dress shirts with red ties and looked as professional as any fine restaurant you'd visit in Europe or the states.

Food
- my vegetarian friend testified to the quality of the mezes platter. The aesthetic presentation of every dish was done very well to create a memorable experience and the flavors were well pronounced

Cons:

Honestly, there's little we didn't like about this dining experience. If anything, as so happens with many restaurants, their menu could be shortened (~10 pages). Then again, the whole thing had photos and was leather bound by hand, so that made up for it.

light appetizers before dinner, which is very quiet romantic atmosphere and sympathetic elements of pita bread with cheese, tomato sauce, but most importantly, the boss greeted us and served us as if they did sucker and a sweet old man, but likeable
