We ate here on our first night in Göreme, and returned for our remaining 2 nights because the food was so good and the service so friendly, professional and charming. There was no hard-selling at the door and (wisely & probably more effectively) no pressure to go inside. This is a courteous family-owned restaurant, with founder-father keeping an active eye & his 3 sons (plus other staff) running the service. There was a good choice of delicious local food from local sources, freshly cooked and professionally served. Service from the staff was discretely attentive, fast enough that we were not kept waiting, but allowing pleasantly leisurely eating. At our initiative, we had some interesting conversations with one son in particular, but that was our choice and otherwise none of the staff attempted to press uninvited attention. All together, this was a very good experience.
