We dined here on our first night in Göreme and were so impressed with the quality of the food and genuine hospitality of the family who own and operate it, that we dined there a few times.
The menu is quite extensive and showcases the excellent regional produce. The signature dish (which most of the restaurants in the town also have) is a wonderfully flavoursome stew cooked in clay pots (Testi kebabi), and cracked open at the table. The lentil soup and meatballs are also recommended dishes.
The best thing however is the hospitality of the owners. Being a family run restaurant, in no time we felt as if we were part of the family.
The owner's brother also runs excellent private tours to some of the nearby attractions such as Rose Valley and Love Valley in his horse and carriage.
This is a must try restaurant when in Göreme.
