“motivated to come back”
Reviewed May 6, 2014

we arrived late twice without booking...and the staff has been so kind to arrange an external accomodation while waiting, offering some drinks and snacks.
Exquisite food and unexpected Turkish wine; and note we arrive from the Barolo land!
Even prices, according to the quality of the restaurant, are absolutely affordable and reasonable, at least for a european traveller.
Warmely suggested to book in advance!

“Best food we had in Goreme”
Reviewed May 5, 2014

Best food we had in Goreme! Very well decorated place with a nice view. The service was quick and the food was great. What else you need? Not the cheapest food in the area but worth it if you are looking for a nice intimate dinner with your partner after a long day of hiking.

Make a reservation or get there early as the place gets quite packed. It can also be a bit hard to find as the location is inaccurate on Google maps.

“Great meal with a view”
Reviewed May 5, 2014

Beautiful surroundings, view and décor. The service was 2nd to none and the food was superb with plentiful portions. The menu is extensive with various dishes to try both for mains and starters. We had various of the mezze dishes that were all exquisite with my favourite being the meatballs with bulgur wheat and the circassian chicken. The local wine was also very good.

Dining on a hill top, overlooking lit up chimney caves, in a stone built restaurant is just too much for words. The restaurant is great for a romantic dinner and/or special occasions.

The only downside was that (a) for Turkey the prices were a little expensive and (b) we ordered the lamb that was described as being cooked in clay pot. This was slightly misleading as the meat was actually barbequed and not cooked in a clay pot. It was merely placed in a clay pot after it was cooked. We would actually see the cook from the location of our table and noted exactly this. Don't get me wrong, the lamb was nonetheless delicious but we specifically wanted to try the traditional way of cooking meat in Cappadocia and the clay pots.

All in all, a great dinner with beautiful views. Will definitely go here again when I visit Goreme.

We had an outstanding meal at Seten after it was recommended by our hotel. Could not fault a thing, great menu selection, great wine list and super recommendations by the great staff. Definitely worth booking a table here.

“yummy food”
Reviewed May 3, 2014

We tried a couple of restaurants that had massive, generic menus - wandered in here and ate on the terrace, with wonderful service and perfect regional cooking. Thoroughly recommend.
