“Great Ambiance, fantastic service...meeh food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel, Divan. The service was amazing. We didn't have reservations but they took us anyways and sat us at a nice table. The wine was local, but a bit expensive. (we paid 50 TL less for the same bottle at the Turasan winery). Prices were good, about 15-50 TL per meal. They serve garlic bread and an olive oil dip on every We had the pasterma (pastrami) and tomate appetizer. My boyfriend loved it, I thought it was ridiculously lemony. The baked tomatoes, parsley and the mean over about 6 lemon slices and it was just took much. However, the meals were good. The Sultan kebab was a steak cooked perfectly, and it was served over garlic, yogurt potatoes. My boyfriend had the kebab with lamp chops, meatballs, and chicken. It was also excellent. My only complaint...the veggies served with the meals were very obviously frozen. There was a pea, corn and potato medly that tasted like it was served in a cafeteria. Also, each plate had another scoop of frozen peans. YUCK. However, the meats were amazing and would recommend it if you want a nice place to ear.

“Love this restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

Seten is located in an old Goreme mansion at the top of the town. Dining takes place (in cool weather) in a series of small rooms with intimate settings. Food is very good. On our two visits my husband and I were able to sample lamb shanks, chicken stuffed with spinach, a pasta dish, mezas of beans in oil and stuffed eggplant, and a dessert, quite wonderful really, of dried apricots, with clotted cream in a pistachio sauce.

“Excellent dining in Cappadocia”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2013

We went twice to this place during our stay in Goreme. The restaurant is just next door to the Kelebek hotel.
The restaurant is quite big and it almost seems that you are in a different place when you enter another room.

Food and wines were very nice. Highly recommended

“Overrated”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013

This restaurant was recommended at our hotel when we first arrived. We dined there on our 2nd night because the other restaurant that we liked to try was going to be closed on our second night. I would say that the ambiance was nice, candle lit dining, looked fancy. But I found the servers were not attentive (to us, maybe?). We were not checked how the food was, if we needed anything else..things that one would expect in a nice restaurant. The only time that the server came to check on us was when he saw that our mezez plates where empty and asked, "Done?" My friend had the chicken and I had the mixed ravioli. Mistake! I was disappointed with the taste or lack thereof. Anyway, the poor service sealed the deal, we did not try their tea/coffee or dessert. Will not go there again on my next visit to Goreme. It's no wonder this restaurant is NOT the #1 on TA.

“Delicious and close to hotel”

A lovely space, large with outdoor or indoor options. Food is excellent Try the stuffed squash blossoms and the chicken done in the special oven.

We were in Goreme two nights and ate here both.
