“Best way to end a day”
Reviewed February 21, 2013 via mobile

After an amazing dinner in Goreme, we needed a coffee to end the night.

This place was perfect.

Fish tanks all over, a tv playing Planet Earth, two rooms with an eclectic decor, and a wicked mix of simon&Garfunkel / Indie Canadian music makes for a great way to unwind before bed.

Try the white chocolate latte. It comes with two pieces of Turkish delight, and a shot glass filled with flowers.

Superb!

“Quirky cosy restaurant, nice staff and great food at reasonable price- you got to make sure you try this!”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Every tourist in goreme should stop by this restaurant! Having stepped into the restaurant in the cold winter night, I felt immediate attraction to the decoration (fusion of modern and old), the warm welcome from the fireplace was such a huge relief from the bitter cold outside, and as I sat and start to wonder my eyes around the restaurant, I get sooo pleasantly surprised at discovering each of their quirky ways of displaying their fishes and started snapping pictures away! The view of Goreme was also amazing from where we sat. They have a great variety of drinks, and although I couldn't understand the Turkish words describing each of those drinks, it doesn't matter cause the staff there was pretty well versed in English and they had delicious looking pictures for their drinks. Had the meatball for about 13TL and potato crepe which is definitely cheaper than some other restaurants we saw. Drink was served fast and presented with what seems like it was made with love, food service was also pretty fast and we enjoyed our tasty meal thoroughly! This place is a definite MUST TRY and I don't think anyone would be disappointed!
Ps. I must also add that we were the last customers and last standing walking tourists in the area but the staff were so patient and quietly waiting for us to finish our food. When we left their restaurant, the whole stretch of the restaurants had already wound down for the night but Mydonose Cafe still gave great service despite it already being way past 10pm. Thumbs up!

Don't miss this spot. Owner is welcoming and the ambience is appealing. Wonderful cafe for taking a break, listening to music, and enjoying a coffee, etc.

“Overlooked Gem”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

This small cafe on top of 2 other restaurants tends to be overlooked and that's a shame.

We were served the best of Turkish coffee, at a beauitful and clean set of glasses/plates, with small lukums and flowers too. The decoration is also very nice.

Don't miss drinking a kahve or cay there one evening.

“it's all in the extra's”

If you have a quiet moment just hang out on the top floor for a beer, a glass of wine and a hookah. Lots of little touches in this joint that equal CHILL!
