A very comfortable stay with grt food and a very warm host Mr Chengezan .He was exceptionally helpful and made our stay memorable.great view from the restaurant . Enjoyed the breakfast in the morning with hot air balloons floating in the sky . The hotel is really neat and tidy . The room tariff is worth it.

During my stay in Göreme for 5 days, I was living in Elysee Cave House. The location is 2 mins close to the centre of the village (the centre is even during night time pretty loud: traffic). A calm and beautiful oasis with one of the most impressive view over the village on the roof top terrace. Even the table mountains could be seen in distance. The service was 100% good, the friendly and open staff gets never tired to achieve the desires of every single guest. I ordered my balloon flight inside the Guesthouse: I was pretty well informed about the best weather and perfect day to go for a flight – It was awesome. The rooms are clean and comfortable and convinced me with its rustic cave style. Breakfast every morning is really big and free and there’s always tea and coffee for free - 24 hrs. I paid 30 Euros for a single room witch is pretty cheap for Göreme. Not at least to mention the friendly guesthouse owner who’s always interested in the guests needs, whatever you’re looking for they’ll try to fix it. After all, I’m completely satisfied.

I came to Elysee on a solo trip to explore Cappadocia and take the hot air balloon ride and I just felt right at home! Cengizhan was so sweet and his staff were so helpful and I felt so comfortable. He helped me plan what I should see and how I can get there. They have a beautiful terrace view and just a good vibe in general. I loved it.

A lovely, atmospheric and extremely comfortable pension, in a quiet area of Goreme,,away from the hustle of the touristy area, but only a few minutes walk to the centre of everything. A good base to walk to the Goreme Open Air Museum and in Honey Valley. Car parking always available, and only a short drive(we had a rental car) to most major sites. The hotel itself was delightful, with lovely use of local carpets in rooms and common areas, a fantastic roof top terrace with great views while eating the delicious and varied included breakfast. The garden was a special view from the windows in our room. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming, and the owner was extremely helpful with local advice, and made us feel very valued as clients. He also advised us on the balloon company we used, Turkiye Balloons, who were also extremely professional. There is so much to see in Cappadocia, so a return trip is on the cards, and Elysee Cave Pension is our first choice where to stay.t

Room Tip: We had an upstairs room, facing the front gate. It was light and airy, and had an alcove carved out...

Being in this wonderful hotel we enjoyed sunrise and baloons view from our window and then having our breakfast upstairs on the terrace. The hotelchef is very attentive and smart, he can give really useful advises and has helped us to plan our trip (we did red tour ourselves, green tour by bus - both are worth of time and energy).
Horse riding was unforgetable and really pleasant. Food and drinks during breakfast were much more rich than in Istanbul (in a hotel of higher class). Room (kervansaray) was comfortable, we had alway hot water and a wide shower (cabin). Hotel is easy to find and you can leave your personal belonging inside the room in safety. We stayed 5 night and it was an amazing time.
If you want to change money with real course and no commision - ask Chengiz ))
The only thing that we found bad was lack of meat on breakfast - but it was not a tragedy ...

Room Tip: we lived not in a cave room because we like light and sunrise, it was not cold, so second floor I th...

We've been to Turkey a few times, and this place is a highlight of those trips, not just for the wonderful physical setting, the charm of the town of Goreme, the exhilaration of the hot air ballooning, the wonder of the surrounding antiquities or the fabulous cuisine, but for the sheer pleasure of staying at an establishment dedicated to service and comfort at a reasonable price.
The surname 'Han' is an occupational one, signifying a family of innkeepers, and the team Cenghiz Han has built around him shows this heritage. The room we had was spacious and comfortable, quiet and traditional, with the biggest shower enclosure I've encountered for a while.
The courtyard was a delight, cool and relaxed with places to retreat and catch up on emails using the multiple wireless networks.
Cengiz arranged tours and a balloon ride for us with great efficiency, and all our connections and pickups were exactly on time and his recommendations sound.
For me the best aspect was the rooftop terrace, with a panoramic view over the township, a very good Turkish breakfast, and access at all hours to simply drink in the view of a lovely town, particularly at night, and the fabulous sight of dozens of hot air balloons in the early morning.
There are plenty of hotels in Goreme, but this is a very good one at a very reasonable price.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Elysee Cave House this past week. The pension is conveniently located an easy short walk to the town centre. It has a lovely courtyard equipped with a hammock, seating and lots of space as well as a beautiful rooftop terrace with glassed indoor space and also outdoor space particularly wonderful in the early morning when close to 100 hot air balloons adorn the sky.
We were looking for a non-cave room and chose the "Istanbul" room which was very spacious and bright with a large washroom with a shower. The kingsize bed was very comfortable. There are different types of accommodation of varying costs. I thought Elysee Cave House was very well priced.
All the items served at breakfast were of very high quality and delicious with usually one different item each day.
The most wonderful part of our stay was the hospitality of the owner, Cengiz, who went out of his way to make sure the guests' stay in Cappadocia was amazing. It felt like we were staying with family.
If you are looking for a relaxing, convenient, and personal place to stay in this remarkable part of Turkey, I highly recommend Elysee Cave House.
