“Nice little gem with fresh homecooked food. Better than expected!”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

A nice little place, friendly people and fresh food. We loved the pancakes (salt and sweet), the music and the people. No haute-cuisine but an honest place with cheap food. We would recommend it, also with children.

“Miss Melbourne coffee?”
Reviewed July 2, 2013 via mobile

You gotta immerse yourself in the culture of wherever you go, but let's face it: Turkish coffee is an acquired taste. If you're so addicted to your Melbourne lattes that you can't go another day without one, then you gotta go to şafak. Great coffee, cheap food, great tunes. If you're heading out trekking for the day, they'll even make you a picnic pack for 10 lira (2013 price). Enjoy your caffeine hit, Aussies!

“''No problem''”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

Ramesh, the cook, told me to go on Trip Advisor and write a review about Cafe Safak. ''No problem'' he says. So here it is.

İ've had a few meals in other places in Göreme but nothing beats Cafe Safak. Good music, nice ambiance and pretty sympathic staff complement the tasty food. The coffee there is a good way to start the day, and the day's special is a good way to close it. The whole family is always down there and it is always a pleasure to chat with them. Ramesh, the cook, could be a touristic attraction on his own if only he was promptly promoted. You can see him complaining about Ali's mom, and you can see her in turn pinch his ears and hit him. A wonderful sight!

“A must stop-by!”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

We visited this cafe almost everyday during our stay in Cappadocia. We love the coffee, the music, the staff, the cutest little girl 'Amelia' (not sure if I spell it correctly) there.

Apart from the coffee, the breakfast there was delicious, too. I recommend this cafe to anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful sip of coffee and a nice break in Goreme.

In case you wanna know, wifi's also available and functioned perfectly.

“Music alone makes this worth a visit”
Reviewed June 25, 2013 via mobile

Seems to be popular with young tourists and hipsters alike, has an amazing soundtrack going on in the background and the waiters working seem to be having a good time overall as well. The place has good coffee and a whole shelf of English books at the back, we really liked it
