Family-run Cafe Safak offers such good food for a very reasonable price !!! Their food and coffee was great and the staff were really nice and friendly. They also offer free wifi. It was our most favorite cafe in Goreme. Unfortunately we found the place on our last day there.

“Very recommended; reasonable price and nice staff!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2013

Many restaurants around this area set the price quite high for small portion, but this place offers great dinner course with deseart for such a reasonable price!!! And it was delicious!

Additionally staff here were nice! I mean, they speak English but yet are not "too friendly". They know how to keep the distance with customers very well.
My favorite part indeed about this restaurant is that the staff didn't come to me when I stopped in front of the restaurant. They never bothered me during decision making, which I really needed since I got in turkey!
Very recommended!

“Friendly service great coffee - no bulls**t!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2013

Welcoming family run café, with exceptionally friendly service. The cappuccino was fantastic, similar to what you'd expect in Melbourne. Complimentary baklava, reliable wifi, very reasonably priced food. The packed picnic lunch was great value and delicious!
We had some time to kill, so stayed there for a few hours and felt very welcome. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

“No joke about award-winning lentil soup!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

I was craving a milkshake after hiking all day long, so it was perfect. We also decided to get some food. Well, the chocolate milkshake was amazing- perfect texture and the right amount of chocolate, but also had a great honey taste to it. The bread they brought out with the lentil soup was soft and chewy and great for mopping up all the delicious goodness of the lentil soup. The "large plate" of chicken had so many great favors- the shredded chicken itself was in a chunky tomato sauce, and it was served with really flavorful rice, and a salad nicely dressed with a vinaigrette. The food was wonderful, and the service very friendly. A great place to eat!
