“Beautiful Location and Excellent Staff”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

I spent four nights here in April 2014, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Ibrahim arranged my shuttle transfers to and from Kayseri Airport (25 TL each way) and the day tours I joined while in Goreme. After I'd been there a few days, he asked if there was anything else I'd like to do, and when I asked about any Turkish cooking classes, he personally called a few different locations before finally calling in a favor with a childhood friend who now owns Koy Evi restaurant just up the hill. Breakfast is served 8am-10am (ish), and is typical (which is to say: delicious and filling). It's a short, steep walk up the hill to a scenic overlook for sunset viewing, and an equally short, steep walk down the hill into the main restaurant area of Goreme. I loved my stay (and the big, deep Jacuzzi tub)!

Our suite was huge with a separate sitting room, enormous jacuzzi and bathroom and private outdoor sitting area. The bed was enormous. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a wide range of choices. Good location, about 2 minute walk from the town centre. I wished I could have stayed longer

I've been traveling around Turkey for a few weeks now and I've stayed in many different types of accommodation. Dervish Cave House was by far the best. My experience here couldn't have been better. The rooms were great, the prices were great, and the free traditional breakfast every morning was fantastic. Ibo, the manager, was the friendliest, most helpful manager I've had the pleasure of meeting. He puts his heart and soul into making sure that the guests are happy and their stay is perfect. Tell him your interests and he will come up with a personalized list of suggestions for you. If you are staying anywhere else in Cappadocia other than here you are making a mistake! Thanks for everything Ibo & Dervish Cave House, you really made my stay perfect!

I just came from Dervish Cave House, First of all I would like to thank Ibrahim,Cemal and the staff they were all so very helpful, friendly and went out of their way to help in any way they could. When we got there Ibrahım gave us details about the tours and restaurants , he is so friendly and helpful, Cemal was our Balloon Pilot, he made the balloon tour more special by his friendly attitude(by the way Ibrahim is the Balloon pilot too so if you get the tours from this hotel you will get either of them as your pilots which is much nicer as they are both very polite and always have smiles for you). The Staff are so friendly and nice. The hotel is beautiful I stayed at a suite which was beautiful, large, comfy, quiet and peaceful. Also its so nice that one really feels at home there. The breakfast is yummy, and the best part is that everything is fresh, the jam home made and delicious. Location is fantastic just 2-3 minutes walk to the city centre with good restaurants. One of the best parts is that you dont need to search for tours and stuff, İbrahim tells you all about the tours and whatever you need to know and as I had searched before apparently they deal with the best tour in Cappadocia. I would highly recommend Dervish Cave house to everyone and would love to go and stay there agian and again and again......Thank you Ibrahim, thank you Cemal and thank you stuff........... The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for value for money and location is excellent. The staff sat with us at breakfast and gave us recommendations to do for the rest of the day. P.S. The winery recommendation was great :)

Room Tip: Go for one of the suites :)

Beautiful cave hotel with clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with tea and coffee making facilities.

Just up the road from the centre of the Goreme the hotel also provides vistas over the town, particularly from the breakfast area.

Staff were incredibly helpful and happy to go the extra mile to help you, even if that did mean driving me to the start of a trek through the white and love valley, near Uchisar. They can also provide information and/or arrange hot air balloon flights and tours so you don't need to battle with the sales pitches from the agencies.

Great hotel, very clean rooms, and the service is unbeatable. Very friendly staff that helped us out with anything we needed. My mom opted to stay at the room while I went on a tour and they were great even just directing her around town. Highly recommended.
