Laid back cheerful smallish hotel with a big heart and swimming pool. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Cave rooms are classy looking with a much appreciated jacuzzi tub in the bathroom after a long day sightseeing. Good food in the restaurant. The manager Mehmet is a great guy with really good instincts about what his guests need at any particular time.

I was in Turkey for 10 days and my time at Flintstones was definitely one of the highlights! I wish I’d planned it better so I could have been there longer. The rooms are basic, but have everything you need and my room was lovely and cosy (and clean and comfortable) and the location was an easy walk to town. Mehmet and all the staff at Flintstones were very friendly and super helpful. Unfortunately I was there for only just over 24 hours, which is not enough time, but the team at Flintstones ensured it was a great 24 hours. I went on tour with Mehmet which was wonderful as not only is he fun and friendly but he also has excellent knowledge of and a great passion for the area’s history and geography. My room was a bit dark, but it is a cave room! I just needed a bedside lamp. I’d be happy to recommend Flintstones if you want a nice room, good value for money and close to town.

We had a excellent stay at Flintstones Cave! The staff are very welcoming, all of them, so it feels like a family business that you are part of. We had our tours and ballooning booked early by email, everything was ready when we arrived. Its a wonderful experience to stay in a cave room, although its a little cold in winter time, but its part of the experience. Cleaness was great, good breakfast, its next to the city center in a close walking distance.
We'd like to thank Mehmet and the lovely crew for all the help and tips about Göreme they gave us!!

Room Tip: Ask for the cave suites!

The guys from Flintstones cave hotel know what they are doing. Nice rooms, good service and a large swimpool located in the front of the hotel are worth a visit. Plenty of parking space. The location is on the outskirt of Göreme, in the beginning of the valley, so not much traffic and very relaxed. Mehmet Ali, the owner is always friendly and helpfull.

Room Tip: Don't forget to take a dip in the swimpool!

We planned to spend three nights in Cappadocia and wanted to find the right balance between cost and service. We couldn't ask for more. Mehmet and his guys did everything they could to make our stay amazing! we originally asked him for a room with nice views and he gave us a room with a balcony. Then we saw the rooms in the caves and were tempted to try them, so he kindly changed our room and, on top of that, upgraded us to a better room. All the tours we took were excellent and timely. Not to mention the cost, you will hardly find better rates than his.
Honestly guys, a great place to stay when you are in Cappadocia!

Room Tip: Talk to Mehmet or email him prior your arrive. He will manage to sort everything out for you.

My partner and I planned to stay here for one night and ended up staying for three. The cave rooms are very nice - heated floors, spacious and dark even in the day. It was perfect for sleeping in and catching up on much needed sleep.
We went in the off season and got the room for a very reasonable rate (read cheap!).
The buffet breakfast was also very good.

We (husband and I) stayed here in off season and it ended up being fantastic value. We had checked out a bunch of backpackers places and they were all the same price 70TL for a double room. Flinstones was the same price (I think it's about half what they would usually charge in summer) and the room was incredible! Heated tiled floor, crisp white bedding, enormous luxurious bathroom. Inside the cave room it felt like a 5 star hotel. We almost didn't want to leave the room to explore cappadocia. Staff were very helpful organizing tours etc. there is a great dog there that escorts you on walks around town.
I have only 2 complaints. The brekky was pretty small. It was the typical Turkish breakfast but a small portion and I was always hungry and disappointed afterwards. The other is the wireless signal. I don't expect to get wi fi in the cave rooms, but it would be good to have signal in the restaurant/common room area. It is only available in reception and outside (but it was snowing when we were there so that wasn't practice).
All in all I loved it there and would definitely return although probably not in the high season as I don't think it would be backpacker rates for the same lovely room.
