Such a great little hotel, staff were extremely helpful and fun. Room was enormous and toasty which was great because it was so cold. The room was like a cave which was such a novelty. Would definitely recommend it.

Clean, nice suites, with an anteroom with two beds, a large bathroom with jacuzzi, and a bedroom with a queen-size bed. Decent breakfast spread, and walking distance from "downtown" Goreme. Electric heater in the room provides adequate heat, and the reception staff are very helpful.

We go to Goreme 3 or 4 times a year. This was our first time to stay in this hotel. We would stay there again without hesitation. The room was reasonably priced. The staff was nice and helpful. We had some trouble with the Jacuzzi (it shot out brown water). I've learned from past experience in other hotels that they don't clean the Jacuzzi to my liking so I brought some beach and we still needed to have the maid clean it again. It looked clean but it wasn't if you turned on the jets. Still this was the only problem and they were more than willing to remedy the situation. We especially liked the heated floors. We did really wish the fireplace was for more than decoration, but with the heated floors, we really didn't need it anyway.

The hotel is very reasonably priced. We opted to stay in a "cave" room. The room had great ambience with radiant floor heat. The bathroom was modern and designed with tile throughout.
The complimentary breakfast was delicious with an offering of yogurt, cheeses, salami, bread and hard-boiled eggs-tea/coffee, of course. The staff were very courteous. Upon arrival they offered us a list of different activities and recommended concessionaires- all were first rate, and in hindsight, it would have been a $$ saver to have booked a tour, rather than renting a car and driving around ourselves. Finally, the owner's dog is always willing to act as a tour guide, and may accompany you around town or through Pigeon valley.

Room Tip: When reserving a room, request a "cave" room. These are more expensive, but this what the...

Shortly after receiving our reservation from hotel.com, the owner Mehmet sent us a comprehensive email detailing the tours and balloon trips available. We booked 2 tours with the hotel and Mehmet also arranged a balloon tour with Urgup balloons and picked a day with better weather for us. All the tours did not disappoint! The hotel room was warm and comfortable, and the beds were so comfortable we felt sorry to leave them. The bathroom was clean and warm and the whole stay was an amazing experience. We were really uncomfortable with the dim lighting in the room and would have preferred more lights although the darkness contributed to the feeling of living in a cave. The location was good as it's just a short walk from town. It was a pleasant stay and I would return again if I went back to visit.

Top notch service, from check-in to check-out. We stayed in the quadruple cave room, which was large and easily accommodated our family. Comfy beds, too! The bathroom's jacuzzi tub was a nice feature. Breakfast was traditional Turkish fare. Staff was warm and helpful, booking everything from our airport transfers to our hot air balloon flight with Urgup Balloons, which was wonderful. The grounds of the property are beautiful, and it is a short walk (5-7 min) into the heart of charming Goreme. There is a rec room with a pool table, board games, and computers, and free wi-fi in the common areas.

Room Tip: Room 13 is a spacious room that easily accommmodates four people. It has a jacuzzi tub in the bathro...

Spent 2 nights at the Flintstones in late September. Had an excellent stay. Cappadocia is pretty amazing, and Goreme is well situated to explore. Flintstones is just on the edge of town, but the town is very small, so its easy to get around. The hotel itself is great: clean, comfortable, and with great amenities. We sprang for a 'cave room' which was pretty cool. The room itself is basically half a cave - with the bedroom and bathroom situated within the cave and a small wall dividing those from the the rest of the room, which was normally built. The bathroom was fantastic though - probably the best shower I had in Turkey, and the jacuzzi tub was great to relax in after a hike. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We organized a tour through them and got a better price than a number of other people on the bus. All in all, would be happy to return.
