“The coldest beer in town”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Thats the way the manager of Fat boy advertised the restaurant to us... and it was true!... they've got the coldest beer that I ever try!...but apart from that the food was awesome, one of the best that we had in Turkey. Excellent menu, good atmosphere and a really nice siting area outside to enjoy the evening.

“Awesome vibe”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

I love Fat Boys and I go there whenever I visit Goreme. The vibe is bohemian and chill, they have cards and board games to play, and excellent food. The staff is very nice and personable.

“Great food, cheap beer and friendly staff”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

Fat Boys was our stop off for afternoon drinks every day and we ate there probably 4 days in a row as well. It was always for lunch, but we tried lots of different dishes and they were all fantastic. The cushions outside were awesome, and great to watch people passing by. Highly recommended.

“Great food & Wine”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

We ate at Fat Boys Bar 4 times in 5 days in Goreme....that gives an idea of our experience there! We tried a variety of dishes, the special fat boys chicken was my friends absolute favorite dish in Goreme, I looooved it also, loved also the meatballs, very well done, for trying some at other restaurants in Turkey I have to say they were delicious. We had also the chocolate cake, tomato soup and more Turkish appetizers and specialties..yes we like to eat....:), we were never disappointed it was always delicious! Add to that the good wine, great staff and cozy outside spot to watch the Goreme everyday life go by and you have the perfect combination for a guarantied good time!

“Great value, great service”
Reviewed April 12, 2013 via mobile

We ate here twice in our short stay in Goreme, so they must be doing something right! We sat outside on the cushions and enjoyed the street scenes passing by. Our Aussie waiter Mark was so welcoming and it was great to find some cricket banter in Turkey! The adults were most impressed by the delicious Turkish food - not on the menu though so do make sure you ask for the daily specials - while the younger team stuck to nachos/burgers/pasta etc, equally quickly devoured. Good that the burgers were 'built' to individual taste. Mudpie chocolate dessert is excellent, but in short supply so reserve some when you first sit down. House wines were good enough and beers on tap as well as bottles. Very happy.
