The food is well priced and the whole family works there. From grandma cooking to grandson managing. We tried the pottery meat. So delicious. But you can't go wrong. We came twice and loved the food both times! Oh and you get to sit on cushions with your shoes off :)

I think is the only place in Goreme that makes a chiken, meat or vegi pottery in a slow traditional cooking way.... You have to make a reservation and make the order with time to be sure you can eat that. The place was nice and may be u are able to be in one of the tables, where you seat on the floor. Our waiter was really nice and happy. I recomend it to visit it, if you want to try something tradicional. As my friend that she is staying in Istambul for 2 month the last 3 years said... "first time i eated chiken in turkie and is not dry!"

This is a traditional seating restaurant with a creative wine cellar. However, our food was a mixed experience. The cucumber and yogurt appetizer was wonderful. The main courses were average. The desserts, kaysi and aside, were bland, dry and rather tasteless. The baklava however was the best we have tasted in Turkey. This is a safe bet but nothing spectacular.

Really like the decoration of the place - very cozy. The owner of the restaurant (seemingly the only waiter in the restaurant on the day we dined there) was a cheery, friendly guy, too. If only I could say the same about the food - it's not bad but I've definitely tasted something better elsewhere in Goreme. Excellent dessert though.
