“Wouldn't stay anywhere else.”
Reviewed June 29, 2010

This place is fantastic. This is no Frills, no TV. So probably no good for kids. For our honeymoon though it was a perfect choice. Mustafa and Cem went out of their way for us. The rooms where beautifully done with the best breakfast selection we had in Turkey. The terrace had a great view of Goreme. The ballons in the morning were almost eye to eye with us at breakfast. We took Cem up on the Dibek retaurant and couldn't fault it. If you are going to Goreme staying here is a must.

This cave hotel was sensational. We had the family room which was spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. It was once the family home of the owner, Mustafa, and contains many of the antiquities from its history, such as the tandoor, the wine press, and cooking implements. The host /owner, Mustafa and his son Cem are delightful. They are friendly, helpful and are the perfect hosts. They will arrange tours, transfers, balloon trips and the like. They are not pushy. Mustafa is a qualified tour guide and whilst he is no longer working as a tour guide he can provide valuable advice as to what to see and do. He can also put you in touch with a personal guide if that is your thing. Fantastic!

Easy walk into town and the Open Air Museum. Our room was spacious, clean, had free wifi, and cool vaulted "cave-ish" ceilings. The rooftop dining area had gorgeous views of the town and the fairy chimneys - a great place to escape the intense mid-day heat. (Beer/soda/water and fruit are available at all times.) One word of caution - be careful of advice they give to you. We took their recommendation on the Dibek restuarant which was terrible.

Stayed at this fantastic hotel with my 13 yr old daughter for 3 nights. Mustafa, Cem and Ali were absolutely fantastic and did everything possible to make this an unforgettable experience. Travelling alone with my daughter from Konakli was a tad daunting. Mustafa arranged everything for me and even collected us from Neveshir at 7am in the morning!! He arranged our trips, including balloon ride (a must!) and all of the family did everything in their power to make us comfortable and 'at home'.

The rooms are wonderful, the views unbelievable and the bed so comfortable I wanted to take it home.

As Mustafa puts it "this is not a hotel, but your home" and that is certainly how we felt.

The only thing I could suggest to improve my stay (being a tea and coffee addict) is the inclusion of tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The stay that my son and I had at Aydinli Cave House was very unique and very enjoyable. The room was comfortable, the WIFI worked well, and the shower had good pressure. The view over Goreme at night was fantastic.
Mustafa and his son, Cem, were very helpful in setting up tours and our balloon ride. Cem took us around to various sites around Goreme on our first day, and set us up with Ahmet to tour Kaymakli (underground city) and the Ihlara Valley on day 2. The balloon ride set up by Aydinli Cave House was the highlight of our time in Cappadocia. It was definitely a good way to see the country around Goreme.
The breakfast served at Aydinli in the top level breakfast area was very good, with some unique home-made dishes. The view made the breakfast even more enjoyable. We got some great suggestions for dinner that were just a short walk away in Goreme. Overall I was very impressed with the Aydinly Cave House.

This was my favourite hotel in all of Turkey! Our room (no 6) was gorgeous, with our own little balcony over the town. The hospitality amazing. Our hosts Cem and Mustafa and his wife couldn't have done more to make us welcome and comfortable and to make sure we made the most of our time in Cappadocia. The hotel is positioned well out of the main part of town but close enough that the walk is no bother. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the town is possibly the best we had anywhere and we just loved being there! They even gave us a present when we left!...
I'd go back tomorrow - wish I could!
