a very nice, cosy, comfortable, clean and friendly hotel. i have no complaints about this hotel. we arrived early and the owner came to pick us up in his mini van from the bus station in goreme. only a 2-3 min drive to the hotel but still it is located in a quiet hill overlooking parts of the village, very nice panoramic views. unfortunately the owner was the only person at the hotel who could speak english but the other staff were helpful and friendly (even if it was very difficult to get them to understand).
the room was very cosy and eventhough it was very cold outside the room generally was warm throughout. it is only a small hotel with less then 10 rooms so it is very personal and has the feeling of a boutique hotel. it must be said however that most of the other hotels around looked to be run in a similar boutique, family hotel, b&b kind of fashion. the room also included a nice fireplace, near the door way, very romantic and nice to heat up the room at night. the hotel s location is good only a few minutes walk to the centre of the village with restaurants, shops and tour organisers. i would recommend this hotel to anyone, couples, friends, a nice spot and the owner mentioned he is doing further work to the hotel and rooms over the winter...

Small, family owned business and they are trying to make money out of everything. They even charged us for a glass of tea and glass of water that they served voluntarily. Miserable breakfast, no choice at all, you have to eat same thing every day you stay. also be careful, they act as if they are doing discounts for local actions but we found out that all are tricks. you can get better prices by calling organizators. i did and i got it.
well, i do not advice you stay there, even owners yell at customers if you question them.

A very nicely appointed, relatively new cave hotel. The rooms are spaciouswith nice marble bathrooms. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of there way to help by : assisting with suggestions and providing discounts for local attractions, shuttling us to one attraction, ensuring that we received excellent seats and service at that attraction, and as a service above and beyond what one would expect, drove us ( without compensation) to a neighbouring town and assisted in retrieving a bank card from the bank machine - this was a big help to someone who did not speak the language. As a suggestion, some of the rooms could use more space for hanging clothes . This small family run business is centrally located and a great find - a hidden treasure!

My mother and I stayed at Katpatuka and we absolutely loved it. Cappadoccia was incredibly gorgeous and Mustafa and the staff at Katpatuka did everything that they could to help us enjoy it. They really helped in terms of facilitating tours, balloon rides, and dinner shows and gave us really great deals on everything. They were exceptionally pleasant and went out of their way to make us feel at home, from picking us up and dropping us off at the airport to nice, personable conversations over breakfast. The room itself was really spacious and incredibly cool, even given the intense summer heat. The entire experience was thoroughly enjoyable, probably the best time we had in Turkey overall. Definitely recommended!

the hotel is well located, in the center of Goreme.
it's so quiet and charming that you wouldn't never leave.
the room (in the cave) was very spacious and cool, so you could get fresh after your trip under the sun. it offers all the services you need, it's very confortable and kept tidy and clean.
in the morning they offer a buffet with the typical turkish breakfast.
i advise the hotel to everyone, you'll feel a pleasant atmosphere during yout stay.

Place was up on a hill. Room was the best I've been so far. It was quiet , didn't need AC since the room was cool itself. Wish they have an english channel but with so many things I could do in Goreme who needs the TV? I've seen Mustafa once or twice but I was greeted by his gf/wife and little ol' dog every morning. She's friendly and energetic, didn't seemed rude to me. But then I've always been easily satisfied customer as long as I knew what was coming. I can't say more of the room, it was a beautiful room & beautiful bed.

My Daughter and I just returned from a wonderful trip to Turkey.
Our highlight was our stay in Cappadocia at the Katpatuka Cave Hotel. Mustafa and his Wife were wonderful to us.
We LOVED the apples off the tree(that his Grandmother planted!)..his Cousin made my Daughter a soothing tea for the cold she was coming down with..which did wonders.
The beds were wonderful..the rooms great(each has it's own story as to what it was used for.Our room was the 'kitchen' and had a chimney (now a window).
It was an easy walk to town.
We just loved our time there, and at the Katpatuka.
thanks for the memories!!
