The hotel it self is well located. It is 10 min. walk to Goreme Open Air Museum. The staff is nice but there is always a problem. Either the room was cold or there was a problem in the bathroom. We stayed in the cave and it was pretty cold at night. First night heating system didn't work. Mostly there was no hot water during our staying. None of the mornings we had hot water enough for two - no hot water at nights at all. Only one was able to take warm shower. Wi-fi is not working in the cave room! Breakfasts were poor as well. Not a great experience.

Room Tip: Better not to stay at the cave rooms.

We stayed for 2 days and "did" the tours. Mustafa had taken over the hotel a few months ago...lived in oz for a number of yrs so speaks great English and helps with everything you need to know.
Location is great...right opposite balloon company and walking distance to town...hotel in need of renovation but great courtyard and atmosphere. Rooms average but Mustafa knows this and expect to improve.
Exceptional value.
When selecting your local tour company check out guides as some are a bit "tired" after doing it for many yrs...can make the difference between a great tour of caves/monastery/etc and an average one

We stayed two nights in room 111 which was one of the "cave" rooms. The location is ideal, everything is within walking distance - you are in the centre of The town within 5 minutes. A 10-15 minute walk will bring you to the open air museum. The rooms are clean and the staff is VERY helpful and friendly. Staff members helped to arrange our transportation from the airport when we were stranded. Overall a great hotel!!

We stayed two nights inside one of the cave. We really appreciated the cool room after days out on tours! Perfect to relax in the courtyard at night sipping a tea or Turkish coffee. Enjoyed early breakfast as well. Ingredients were fresh , and tasty. Staff highly hospitable and willing to help. Murat and Mustafa coordinated with tours and transportation on our behalf. I have already advised a friend who is currently traveling in Turkey to stay at Peri Cave when she is in Goreme

lovely hotel, great staff, thanks Murat and Mustafa, who helped us so much with tours, information, and were very kind all the time!
our room was amazing, just inside a cave, very quiet, clean and big, well decorated. breakfast is served at the yard, surrounded with fruit trees, great to have some tea and relax at any time. close to everything, easy to find. perfect stay, highly recommended!

We stayed at the Peri Cave hotel for 3 nights. Originally we had only reserved for 2 nights but decided we wanted to stay for one more. They were able to accommodate our request without a problem. The first room we stayed in was one of the cave rooms, very fun! I felt like a hobbit! It was clean, cool and cozy. We even had our own little lounge area attached to the room. The second room was not as fun, a regular room very close to the restaurant area but still very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every morning, we even got french toast on the second day! The best part about this hotel was the staff. The owners, the two Mustafas were always available to answer questions and give advice about tours and activities. One of their employees (the third Mustafa) was also very helpful, on our last day we lost our cell phone and Mustafa even offered to use his cell phone to try and call it. Do not pay attention to the bad reviews on this hotel that date back to more than a year ago. This hotel used to be owned by someone who did not look after it very well and the two Mustafas have only been running it for less than a year, they have done a great job at fixing up the rooms and their service is excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel, best place we stayed at in Turkey!

Very convenient location to go to Goreme town and Open Air Museum. A very warm welcome from the staff and gorgeous dog who looks after the premises. Murat and Mustafa were very informative and took their time detailing options to sightsee in the region. The courtyard was a lovely environment with hammock, locally handmade jewellery on sale, Turkish instrumental music playing at breakfast and pear and apricot trees groaning with fruit when I was there in August. The atmosphere encouraged conversation and over a BBQ that the staff cooked, a traveller put on an impromptu guitar performance. Breakfast was generous and varied; rooms had a number of options but were consistently clean and decently sized, make sure you request the fairy chimney rooms if you want a cave experience. Even in the height of summer, A/C and fan was not really required as the rock cooled considerably.
