Everything was amazing since the email exchanging, staff was really compromised in making our stay perfect, booking airport transfers and baloon tour, with a very fast and complete answer for every contact. Arriving there, we were amazed by the beauty of the place, in the middle of the rock formations and with an astonishing view, as the hotel is in a higer level from the others. Our room was fantastic, we felt really special being there, for a good value for our money, confy bed, bathtube, all carved on the rock. Breakfast was amazing, very diverse and replaced al the time for the staff so we could enjoy everything from 8 to 11 a.m. It was a drema to have breakfast at the terrace with the view they have, also great to relax on the garden in many dream spots that they set with chairs ans couches. The staff so friendly and concerned really made our stay pleasant and unforgettable, special thanks to Hakan and Murat, this guys work hard, always with a smile!

My husband and I stayed in Travellers cave hotel as part of our honeymoon. We had a great stay thanks to the hospitality of the staff here. They run their own tours and had a very positive experience on the tours we did in Cappadocia including the balloon ride (which is a must if you are here). The view from the hotel is beautiful. If you wake up early enough you can see all the balloons in the air right from when you step foot out of your room. I thought that we got great value for what we paid and staying in a cave room was really cool!

Room Tip: I loved my standard cave room! (No. 7)

Stayed 3 nights. Pros: great location, close to centre, restaurants, etc. The hotel is very efficient in organizing any tour you want and rides from and to airport. Breakfast is great and served in a very nice setting. Cons: bed uncomfortable, the spring pushes into you all night long, toilet seat badly broken ( cheap fix, unacceptable), no fitted sheet on mattress just a flat sheet thrown on, tap on bathtub badly leaks when handheld shower turned on. You get a feel it was just kind of thrown together. If your room is on the bottom of the compound be prepared to walk a lot of stairs back and front. Owner seems a bit arrogant, we overheard him yelling on the phone to somebody. Not something you should do in font of your clients. While all the available packaged tours were clearly explained, there was no mention of many of the beautiful, breathtaking hikes you can do on your own free of charge. For the price we paid for three nights, I cannot complain overall, but had we paid more, I'm not so sure.

Room Tip: Rooms located on the bottom is close to town but at least 100 steps to go upstairs for breakfast, et...

This is definitely one of the best options to enjoy Cappadocia area. It is close to restaurants and souvenir shops. The view is magnificent!
The hotel is thematic, like the majority of the other hotels nearby. The room is like inside a cappadocian cave, but as confortable as a typical hotel room. You will find a good bathroom, fireplace, heater, tv and a confortable bed. For the breakfast you can have omelet, bread, cheese, fruits, coffe and milk. The wifi works very well.

The hotel is great and really worth the value that you are paying. But the best part of this hotel is the hospitality.

Tip: The recepcionist is very friendly and helpfull. He can really help you booking transfers and tours, making his best to get the best for you. Follow their hints, they know what they are doing. Make sure you book the transfer from Kayseri Airport to the hotel. It costs only 20 tl per person and definitely worth the price. Consider 1h for the transfer.

This hotel was suggested by a friend and I am thankful to him. This will be my hotel if I visit Cappadocia again and I would definitely recommend.

The folks running this beautiful, intriguing, and all-around wonderful hotel are just uncommonly helpful and sweet. To illustrate: we had an early morning flight out (the transfer to Nevsehir arranged by them, 18TL payable on the bus) and would miss breakfast (which was pretty good, lots of fresh fruit, and a hot option like crepes or omelets). I could live with that, but they insisted on providing us with something the night before that we could take with us, and hooked us up with water, oranges and a couple of huge sandwiches. They helped with heavy bags down the many steps to the fantastic cave room (a deluxe), which was plenty roomy. Hot water a little spotty in the morning, AC reliable. We arranged a "Green" tour of Cappadocia run by the Hiro company through the front desk, and while it was a beautiful tour, the guide was only so-so. You might check up on the other companies before you book through the hotel. Also, we arrived on a soul-rattlingly early bus, must have been about 6:45 am, and while our room wasnt' ready, the hotel treated us to breakfast, let us basically pass out on their breathtaking outdoor veranda, and seemed to rush to get the room ready for us right around 11am. Just super sweet folks, you can't go wrong with them.

The room we had was room 17,(use second entrance and its only couple of minutes away from town centre) nice room but a climb to get to the main reception area and breakfast.area Breakfast was standard Turkish style breakfast same as you will get most places in Turkey, but plenty to eat and well stocked. Rooms are non smoking but the issue I have is that being a non smoker I did not enjoy eating breakfast on the terrace and having some inconsiderate guest or member of staff wafting plums of smoke and ash everywhere and if you left your room window open and someone decided to smoke outside your room you came back to smoke filled room. Either make hotel non smoking or designate area,s for smoking. As you can tell from my review I don't like smoking and dislike even less inconsiderate people who inflict their smoke on me,. Little consideration smokers please. Please do not let my non smoking issues put you of this hotel as it is a very nice place to stay when in Goreme

Room Tip: Use lower entrance to hotel for easy access to town centre

We booked on booking.com and found out that the room we got in Travellers' Cave is not any of the rooms that are shown on booking. The hotel is managed by a Yoko-Ono style tirannic woman who put us in a cellar-style cave-room without closets, only wall-holes, minimal bathroom with no space at all, problems with flashy lightbulbs with bad contacts. A freaky room indeed, rather doomy and very dusty. They told us we had a refrigerator in the room while it was a made-in-Hongkong-winecooler...Can't believe how they got so high rated.. is this a fraude with fake ratings, maybe? Aaand... no more Bob Marley-music please, I got so fed up..

Room Tip: Make sure Yoko doesn't put you in the horror-room at the back side, ask for the luxury rooms in...
