“Great Rooms and a gorgeous view”

Average food in the buffet and a nice lobby bar, do yourself a favor and have a Turkish bath you won't regret it. The hotel it's Near a supermarket the only problem it's that they won't allow you to enter the hotel with bottles of waters and beers that you bought over there.

Just back from a weekend at this hotel. What a shame, this should be a great hotel but it is not. We were booked into a two room 'suite' for two nights.

The duvet cover was too small to fit the bed. When we asked for a larger one we were told that this was a 'standard size', and the only option would be to have two smaller ones.

During the night I had to move into the second room to sleep on the sofa bed because the walls were so thin I could not sleep for the man in the next room snoring loudly.

The breakfast was terrible. I live in Turkey so understand the challenges but this was seriously bad. There were lots of very sweet options like jam, honey, chocolate sauce, sweet cakes, croissants and rolls, but no healthy or decent savory items. They offered luke-warm powdered scrambled eggs, menemen which was mostly onion and paprika, and the yoghurt and juices were so sweet they made your eyes water. The staff in the restaurants were lovely and helpful but unfortunately could not provide decent food.

The swimming pool is the one good thing - lovely and large with decent views but be warned, you MUST wear a bathing cap and if you do not have one with you they make you buy one at their shop, which makes for a terrible customer experience. When you pay hundreds of euros for a very average hotel, it is extremely annoying to have to pay for a bathing cap in order to use the facilities. They would be much smarter to let you borrow them, or give them to you, rather than force you to buy one from them.

Sorry, I wish I could be more positive as I had really hoped this would be a nice place, but it is not.

Room Tip: Stay at a different hotel.

This was part of a group tour of 15 days in Turkey, so some of my memory of these hotels is fuzzy and incomplete. But I write what i DO distinctly remember from this hotel, and all that we stayed at - some standing out more than others.
The location of this hotel is not interesting, but we were pretty exhausted so it was fine. There is a nice promenade to walk along and watch the sunset right in front of the hotel. And there is a small mall with clothing shops and a Tesco (like Walmart) right across the street to stock up on snacks and explore.
The hotel was clean, they all are amazingly clean. All staff were helpful, not that we really needed anything.
There is a huge pool outside but we unfortunately it closes at 8pm, when it was still bright out, so that was a little annoying. BUT there was a huge and empty indoor pool and 2 piping hot Jacuzzis that were open much later.
There was some kind of graduation party going on in the ballroom, but it was only loud when you were right next to it.
I'm only docking a star for the pool times and the location (not near too much), but the hotel is very nice, clean and helpful.

I will first say that the rooms were quite nice and spacious with views of the Dardanelle. However, there were many other things that I did not like about this hotel. I was there in December 2013 and even though I had turned off the heat, the room was still unbearably hot. I slept with the windows wide open the whole night, as did many other guests, whose windows I could see open. This hotel, I assume, is used by many, many, many tour companies. When we pulled up to the hotel, there were at least 20 tour buses parked outside. Inside it was completely overrun with tour groups in addition to a large conference that was being held at the hotel. It was simply too crowded. In addition, I had both dinner and breakfast there and both meals were awful.

Stayed here for 10 days as part of a group. As other reviwers have said, yes it does mainly cater for large tour groups and breakfast can get very crowded. Having said that, I never had a problem finding a table. Breakfast is local but then again you are in Turkey and there is lots of choice. Bedroom is spacious, in particular the bathroom. Overall, a nice hotel but more like a 4 star hotel.

Last night we stayed in this hotel for a night. The room quite small. I like the timber floor. Clean room.
We couldnt set the heater though so it was too hot for us. Finally we opened the window in the mid of the night.
The dinner and bfast was lovely. So many variety. Love the potatoes with spices. Many choices of olives, my fave fruits.
