In my journey to the Turkish Riviera, I have stopped one night at Anzac Hotel, is what every traveler wants to obtain: good location, silance, cleaning and hospitality. The rooms are ok, well appointed and breakfast enough for a traveler.Because is situated in the middle of the Town, you can find parking by helpfull of the receptionist.
Good Trip, or vacantions at Canakale

Room Tip: the rooms from the back are noiseless

We always book here (about our 8th visit) and we always get a free upgrade into the Grand Anzac but because the hotel was full and it was Bayram we ended up in this hotel and our room was not good. Staff and breakfasts are great and the position is wonderful. The room we had was badly in need of money spending on it and trying to get out of the stepped bath / shower was highly dangerous! The man who had the job of using the silicone sealant in the bath area should have been sacked and why has no one from the hotel checked and approved this room. It looked like a child had sealed the bath and shower. The room only just fitted the bed and the TV was just dreadful and unwatchable! We would book again but only to stay in the Grand Anzac which is much better.

I stayed at Anzac Hotel as part of a tour group.

The location was fantastic. So easy to walk to the ferry port as well as all the bars, restaurants & cafes.

The staff were very friendly & helpful with directions.

The rooms were ok, small but I was travelling alone so it was fine but I must point out 3 cons with my room: 1) my mattress was incredibly hard, I like a firm mattress but this was like a rock; 2) the shower was tiny, like tiny tiny. Was difficult to wash when you don't have any elbow space; 3) the door was so hard to open, I was stuck inside my room for 5 minutes worried how I was going to get out. I wasn't the only one with this issue, at least 3 others had same problem & think they should really look into this.

Overall a pleasant stay (1 night). Hotel has good wifi aswell.

The hotel is located just off the main square. It has nice, clean rooms with good wi-fi connection.
The staff is friendly and provides useful travel info and arranges good tours. I will stay here again if I come back.

We were part of a group tour with accommodation pre booked as part of the package. Front desk people very helpful. Location was very good in relation to bars and restaurants and ferry with good views of Dardenalles. Great jumping off point for visitors to Gallipoli battlefields. Although we had our transport I'm sure it would be easy to get transport from Canakkale or short ferry ride to Maydos on the Gallipoli side of the Dardenelles. Good clean rooms.

I must agree with the other reviewers that this hotel location is great. Just a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. In the area where you can find lots of cafes and restaurants and little shops.

We booked triple sharing room for 55 euro per night with breakfast. The room was big and clean with 3 single beds. Normally, triple sharing room i have is double bed room with just an extra bed added in. However, here I noticed the room is tailored for triple sharing. Every thing is functional except our room door seemed to be quite difficult to open.

Staff was freindly. Big spread of Turkish breakfast. There is a lift here.

When asked to recommend a good local Turkish restaurant, the staff informed Sardunya EV, less than 5 minutes from hotel. Good choice. Delicious local food with reasonable price and friendly lady owner. We ate there twice.

Also joined the Gallipoli tour from the hotel at 75 Turkish lira per person.

I have been travelling for over 30 years and this hotel is one of the most relaxing hotels in my agenda. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean, comfortable, you feel and smell the freshness, the bathroom is relaxing, the food is very tasty, it is just in the city centre. Just choose it, you will be a guest here, not a customer and you will never regret :-)

Room Tip: Ask for the rear or westside rooms since the noise from the street and the music from the next door...
