Our room didn't have a huge view, but we could see the ocean from our deck. More importantly, our meals were on the outdoor deck of the restaurant, which was nice. Our room was moderately sized, for a European hotel. The bathroom was a bit small, but the worst part was the shower partition that kept only a small fraction of water from ending up on the bathroom floor. We didn't use the pool, but it looked quite small. The hotel is located right on the street next to the ocean, so it was very convenient for taking a walk up and down the wide pedestrian sidewalk.

This is a safe choice in Cannakale and will not disappoint if you are not expecting too much. It is clean, spacious and has great views from the rooms without setting any records. It is expensive in terms of value for money. Breakfast has a good food selection but tea and coffee was below average, service slow and the layout not well planned.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a good view

Food better than some of the other so-called 5star hotels in Turkey, but not good by a long shot. Have what seems to be close to a 1000 TV and radio channels but when asked about an English news channel the answer was 'no'. But aircon does not work. Blows stale coolish air into the room and when you open a door to go out on the balcony it stops. Does not work when you go outside. Fridge had to be replaced because it did not work. Light in front of room door did not work. Only 3 hangers in closet. Had severe allergy attacks in room. First time in 10 days in Turkey. Dilapidated but appears clean. Friday night and street extremely noisy.

The foyer is attractive, great views from the rooftop bar and restaurant however the pool area and rooftop bar badly need refurbishing. Pool area had no chairs or tables around and was quite an unattractive area. Fantastic water pressure in showers.

This hotel was undergoing renovations when we stayed there, so this review may be a little out of date. There was building rubbish very close to the reception desk. Check in was quick and the staff at reception were very friendly. We were given a room at the back of the hotel which meant we had to walk to the back of the hotel and use the rear lift. The lift had no indicators working so we were at a loss to know where the lift was and how long it would take to get to us. A small point but when you have been on the road all day a valid one.

The rooms was spacious with a good sized bathroom and a balcony overlooking the car park and rubbish bins, but as we were there for one night we accepted that. Breakfast meant we had to go down to the ground floor then walk up the stairs or catch the other lift. Breakfast was of good quality and selection. The hotel is situated right on the foreshore with lots of eateries close by. Also nearby was the wooden horse from the movie Troy. Very eye catching.

All in all a good hotel, well situated and presented and I feel that we would stay there again should we be in Canakkale.

Room Tip: Try to get a room at the front of the hotel for a sea view.
