We had a truly fantastic stay in the White House Hotel. The location was amazing - it is very central and within walking distance to all the main sights in the area. The staff couldn't have done any more for us and were always incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but lovely, and the bathroom was a good size with an excellent shower. Breakfast is amazing.it's served on a ground floor with wonderful views across the hourbor which makes up for it! All in all a wonderful stay - thank you to all the staff for making it so memorable!

We stayed here with a couple of friends in September, on our way to Troy. The town is also close for the Gallipoli visit. We were wonderfully surprised by our room. It was right on the seafront with fabulous views outside the window. The bathroom had everything needed, too. No complaints. The staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant area were very helpful and gave good service. The breakfast was buffet style and a very good selection. Also, the dinner we had there was also very good. The hotel is right in the centre of the evening action on the 'corniche' and lovely to stroll along. Also, the model horse from the movie, Troy, is only a short walk up from the hotel. The local people here are extremely friendly, too. Would love to revisit.

The manager is always on hand to ensure the highest quality of service. Staff will meet and exceed your requirements if you explain your needs. The staff left the restaurant to purchase
the tea bags we requested.

We stayed in the family suite on the top floor. It is spacious, well appointed and has a balcony. The view of the Dardenelles is fabulous.

The hotel is on the waterfront and the hotel restaurant which overlooks the water is excellent.

Room Tip: The family suite on the 5 floor is fabulous - spacious, quiet and a great waterfront view. Some of...

The hotel is a bit Premier Inn for us but the room was big, the bed was MASSIVE with bathroom was nice - the whole place was spotless. Great sea view from the window. Unfortunately there was a disco somewhere nearby belting out really loud music but it stopped around 1am so not too bad compared to the traffic noise etc that we have experienced elsewhere all night. Canakkale is a bit of a tourist stop town for Troy and Gallipoli and that's about all, so don't stay here for more than 1 or 2 nights at the most. The hotel resturant is a bit turisty we found a really good turkish fish resturant on the front with live music which was much better. There was a good open buffet for breakfast with lots of choice x

Room Tip: Book a sea view room to make the most of a short stay

Stayed for three nights at the Hotel Limani - found it recommended in Lonely Planet. Had a group of five and we booked three rooms. Every aspect of our stay at the Limani lived up to and even exceeded our expectations. Enjoyed the food in the restaurant, cocktails and beers at the bar much appreciated after the day's exploring the town and across at Gallipoli. The whole team were more than helpful and we have no complaints at all. Would absolutely recommend the Hotel Limani.

Room Tip: View across the Dardenelles from the sea front room was spectacular!

Right on the waterfront. Really helpful staff who even walked down the street (about two blocks) to the ferry landing to meet our incoming bus after a several-hour trip from Selcuk. Nicely appointed lobby, has its own bar and restaurant. Small but clean room with a view of the harbor - nicely furnished, price was reasonable (could have been a bit less given the lateness of the season), desk staff very helpful. Perfect location as a jumping-off point for a trip to the Gallipoli Peninsula.

Room Tip: Get water view.

Having the chance to visit for first time Canakkale we had the luck to stay for a night in this hotel. The location is unique , and if even on the harbor very close to cafe, restaurants not noisy at all. Very comfortable, an amazing bouffee for breakfast and even best food for dinning.
It is just like visiting your home.
Many thanks to Housein and his family but also to their employs(savas many regards, thank you).
