“Great for photos and silk”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

A lovely quadrangle in the middle of the market.

Coffee or tea downstairs and climb the stairs to find lots of great silk shops, selling scarfs and pashminas at a good price.

Go inside to meet the traders, barter, buy and have a good time.

“Koza Han Bazar”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

Koza Han Bazar in Bursa is specialized in Silk shops. Like others bazaars in Bursa, it has a nice courtyard in the middle of the building that visitors can sit and have something to drink or eat. A mut seen place in Bursa.

“Scarves...Scarves...Silk Scarves!”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

What can I say...this is the silk scarf capital of Turkey and maybe the whole world! The Koza Hani is a wonderful old market place with lots of interesting shops. In the more upscale shops, the salesmen were friendly and not pushy and the quality was outstanding. In one shop, we were able to buy several beautiful silk scarves with cartouches of the Ottoman rulers and the shopowner took great pleasure in describing the different designs. We later learned that Queen Elizabeth had also stopped in this particular shop on her trip to Bursa.

“the silk bazar was the best part of Bursa”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

Definitely go here to see an incredible selection of silk vendors, and the best prices in Bursa- perhaps all of Turkey. You are buying real silk, so don't expect a bargain but to get a good price, buy everything from 1 shop.
