“Nice & Relaxing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2013

Went with my Husband for a week, which to be fair, was enough. We had a deluxe suite which was fantastic. The food in the main restaurant was ok but more geared for the Russians. We did book for the 'A La Carte' restaurants with the Turkish & the Italian ones being the best. The only problem is having to queue the day before to book it. The Beach bar & pizza bar were good but expect to wait to be served for your pizza order as you are not allowed to order it at the bar. We found the Staff friendly and manners go a long way, not like the Russians who were very ignorant & some of them were very rude to the staff, even clicking their fingers at them to get their attention. Yusef in the main bar was lovely, he looked after us with our drinks & also sorted me out with some medicinal concoction when I had an upset stomach.the hotel is out the way, which we loved & the views are good, especially the sunsets. It is easy to travel around, the dolmas is every few mins & very cheap. The animation team were very friendly & there was entertainment every night. The only grudge is the bingo, the winners got tacky prizes that you wouldn't bring home so it would have been better to give them cash.

Room Tip: Pay that little bit extra for a deluxe as people we spoke to in the twin rooms, say they were small...

I agree with most of the reviews as with everything in life you can't expect 100%. We just got back after a weeks stay and thoroughly enjoyed the break. The resort is huge with a private beach plenty of sunbeds and beach towels that can be changed daily from 4-6pm. Food was plenty, lots of choice and various places to get meals and snacks so you definitely wont starve. Most of the staff were moody but what do you expect when most of the guests were so rude and arrogant. Its true the majority were from Russia and Belarus and they barge in, jump queues, no please or thankyou and don't even know how to smile!!! However the staff we encountered were always pleasant as we treated them with respect, a smile and thankyou. I would like to mention the young blonde girl at reception who was very friendly and helpful poor girl seemed to be ther 24 hours and i don't know when she slept but was always smiling. Mursel in the Italian a la carte restaurant was very funny and cheerful and brightened our evening. The entertainment staff were billiant and the evening shows were very professional and entertaining. Overall this hotel has everything on site for a relaxing break despite a few minor
Negativities including our en-suite being a bit smelly and our hair dryer smelling of burning, we had another room so we used the hairdryer there instead. We met a nice couple with a young boy from Manchester and would have liked it if there were more guests there from England.

We have been fortunate enough to have travelled to many parts of the world, and am quite picky when researching for the right location, and the Sea Light Resort ticked all of the boxes. It is very clean, well positioned, and has absolutely stunning views, particularly at sun down. I am not personally into Hotel Animation teams, but they were not intrusive or 'badgering', and at least kept the few children occupied. The bars throughout the Hotel are well stocked, with some well known brands included within the All Inclusive package. The cocktail menus are all included free. Now after reading some other reviews, I am surprised about some negativity towards the food, particularly people asking about a lack of English breakfast foods like bacon! Turkey is a Muslim country, hence NO PORK PRODUCTS! The salads were always beautifully varied, and fresh as a daisy, the choice of meat dishes and fish never became 'samey' and whether you like chips with anything, you were catered for, or if you fancied something more traditional, it was there, and available at almost all times of day. Light snacks are also available via after-midnight FREE room service. A lot of the food is cooked to your order such as the great Pizza's at any of the pool/beach side snack bars, but be patient, as its popularity has become well known! The rooms all have balconies, though I would suggest a pool facing one is best, to see the great sea views, and to see any of the entertainments. In scoring this resort, I can't give it a half point, but I guess the only negative I would say is that some of the staff are not particularly cheerful, and seem to be a little slapdash or do the minimum to fulfill your request rather than do all they can to help. Finally, and not being the Hotel's fault, please beware of the Russian/Ukrainian holidaymakers, to say they are ignorant and rude is an understatement! They don't wait for you to get out of a lift before pushing their way in, they queue jump incessantly, and simply don't give a toss about being rude. They are awful to the staff, and treat them as if they are slaves. Several of the British Holidaymakers commented how remembering to say please and thankyou to the Turkish staff really did get you remembered and treated better than the Russians, and even returning the odd empty glass to the bar suddenly got rewarded with extra drinks being brought to your tables, and the towel sculptures started appearing! The Barber shop/beautician bar is to be avoided, especially after the results of a manicure fell off hours later, and my partners brow threading wasn't the greatest. Overall the Hotel and resort were excellent, and despite maybe not a definite 5 star in comparison to some places I have visited, it is very good value for money, and has all the facilities you could wish for.

Room Tip: Try a restaurant in Kusidasi centre called 'SARAY', fantastic steaks, brilliant service, goo...

We stayed here as a group of families with all inclusive board - which included all food and drinks. The food and drinks were fantastic, with lots of choice! There were also some independent restaurants on site with specific cuisine (we visited the seafood restaurant) which were equally good. The service was good, very friendly staff, and free wifi and laptops were available from behind the desk for those who need them.
The rooms were brill - we were in a family room (3 beds) and it was very spacious and clean!
The resort itself is beautiful with many facilities - a gorgeous pool, 3 slides (in another pool) for kids (or adults!!), tennis courts, pool, a poolside bar, a disco, a huge balcony for lounging in the sun, and it is also situated right on the beach! There is a huge walk down to get to the beach (with a bar halfway down for those who need a break!) but the private beach is worth the walk. There is a very picturesque view looking over the sea, which give fantastic sunsets!

However, shame the location wasn't perfect - not much to do around the hotel and therefore stayed on site most of the time. Visited the markets on wednesday which were okay - but you'll be hassled by a lot of locals trying to sell "genuine fake watches"!

i was there in 2012 , we are a group from iran. the hotel was good but the receptionists are not good , i don't like them.
the restaurants are good but not complete.
the staffs are very kind, good and polite, the best part of the hotel is this.
the view of the rooms are good.
it is a u-all hotel but after mid-night they serve only one or 2 kinds of food and just coffie, hot chocolate.
the night club is not good at all
the hotel does not have parties or games during the day
the place is good for those who want to relax, it is not a good hotel for fun
the room services are not good not bad , it is so so!!!

Just come back from a 2 week stay at the Sealight resort Hotel and I’d like to just say I agree 100% with the review TERRIBLE 10 June 2013, this is also my first review and I chose this Hotel on the reviews from this site, I normally read the good and the bad reviews, then go down the middle, when picking a Hotel, DON’T !!!! on this Hotel read the bad reviews and then you will get the true picture.
The guests list for this Hotel consists of 70% Russians and Belarusians 15% Turkish 5% British and 10% from other EU countries, so Russians are the main guests at this Hotel.
The main pool area at the Sealight Hotel is very crowded, with wall to wall sun beds and loud music is played for most of the day, so you go to the beach, down a very very steep slope for a bit of peace and quiet only to find next door but one, is a Turkish beach bar that plays very very loud BOOM BOOM music from 12 o’clock onwards and at the weekend the volume is turned up even louder, so if you want to go on any excursions, it would be a good idea to book them for the weekends
The food in the main restaurant is not brilliant, but ok, if you can find a clean table with cutlery on it. The Hotel also as four a’la carte restaurants which you have to queue and book for the next evening, the booking desk opens at 9oclock and guests start queuing from 8 o’clock onwards, the problem is then made worse by Russian guests, who just walking straight to the front on the queue, push in and no one says anything too them, so you can be queuing for up to 1 hour plus and if you haven’t reach the front of the queue and booked by 10oclock all the two sittings for the four restaurants have all gone, I’m sorry but I don’t go on holiday to queue for four hours a week and over a two week period, that had up to eight hours of queuing.
In the Sea light there are lots of notices in various places with rules and regulations of the Hotel i.e. children playing in lifts, no food and drinks taken to rooms, but no one seems to take any notice of the rules and the staff just don’t seem to be bothered to enforce them either.
If you have already booked this Hotel GOOD LUCK and to the guests who return year after year, SORRY GUYS, YOU MUST BE MAD!!!!!

This was our third time to sealight and it was even better than our last visit . As we were repeatsrs we got upgraded again to a fantastic room.with stunning views. You do have to tell reception.on arrival that you have been before and they will be more than happy to help. Staff are very friendly food very good as it was before. If you don't like steps then the beach may not be for you as there are around 113 of them but never fear there is a shuttle bus that runs between 10am and 6pm so another great holiday had.
