“A nice hotel by the Aegean Sea”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

Charisma is a nice hotel in Kusadasi where we stayed during our trip to Turkey.
overlooking the Aegean sea.
The view of the sunset is awesome The buffer breakfasts & dinners are great and there is a big variety of food.

The services is ok as many guest stay here and you always have a big crowd anytime.
Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The sad part is they do not have in room coffee and tea maker, hot pot you can not expect guest to travel all the time downstairs to have a quick cup of coffee or tea i think they need to provide this service

There is free wi-fi in the hotel but the quality differs within the room but yes not bad. Bathrooms are tiny and bed was small. But yes the dinner and the sea view makes it a overall a good hotel to stay and recommend.

Charisma is one of the best hotels in Kusadasi, Turkey. It's a local 5 stars hotel located near the city, overlooking the Aegean sea. The sunsets are great each evening, each room has sea view. The buffet breakfasts & dinners are great and there is a big variety of food. The services are ok. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated.

There is a big outdoor swimming pool and a small indoor pool, mini golf, table tennis, a spa center, a small kids club (but it was closed in November being out of season, I guess), and sea sports center (diving, jet ski etc). There is free wi-fi in the hotel. You can walk to the city center in 10 minutes, or to the marina in 5 minutes.

Overall, it's a very good hotel.

Clean, spacious room with balconies overlooking the sea. Great sunsets! Away from the hubbub of town. Included breakfast is fine, variety of foods both Turkish and European and they have whole grain bread! Staff is helpful. Internet (wifi) in the rooms is a pain; you have to get special help from the IT technician. Beautiful pool Only real downside is, as with most luxury hotels, you have to pay for almost every add-on, including use of the business center Internet after an initial 20 minutes and the safe in your hotel room. Nevertheless, I'd recommend this hotel

You know it is a problem when the name of the hotel has" De Luxe " in it .Our accommodations were anything but.The bathroom was tiny ,the bed small, the mattress hard and the sheets old and scratchy , even the carpet was not connected to the wall had gaps in the corners (poorly installed)The dinner was excellent though this property is half board the dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet were excellent I will give them that.

This new hotel that skirts the waters of the Aegean could not have been nicer. It is beautifully decorated, spacious, accommodating and plain out lovely. The lobby and our rooms looked out onto the sea and their vast pool. The board walk along the ocean front with ladders down into the sea was where we sipped our wine and enjoyed the warmth of early October. The buffet, where we ate breakfast and supper, was spectacular with the most luring of desserts, forget trying to avoid sugar. There is nothing small about this hotel. To move through it is like taking a hike through modern and light filled surroundings. Ephesus and other ruins are close by, an interesting juxtaposition of now and then. The hotel was a treasure of our trip traversing Turkey.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a Grand Circle Tour/OAT tour of Turkey. The hotel is beautiful. The location on the sea was spectacular. The pool overlooks the sea like a continuance view. There are many lounges to use by the pool and sea. There are resturants in walking distance from the hotel. We had the buffet at the hotel. It was very good. Dessert choices were like those available on cruise ships. Because it is a 5 star hotel, you can not be seen bringing in any refreshments or snacks. Take a big beach bag and stop at the local grocery store by the marina.

We were there on October 15, 2012. Very clean hotel and rooms, very pleasant staff, speaks good english. Great Buffet!! All rooms have a sea view, which is awesome. The sunset over the Aegean was spectacular! Great Pool and access to the sea. Easy walk downtown to shop at the local grocery store, Milgros. A little farther and you get to the touristy shops and cafes.
Not the greatest sidewalks to walk on, but the hotel has nothing to do with that, it's the city.

Room Tip: all rooms have a sea view
