I have to say this Hotel is your worst nightmare, I had to move out after 3 nights as i was exhauseted and needed a resk, you can forget about sleep with Tom Jones etc playing until 3 am every night! The hotel itself is of very low standard, No sound proof and you can forget about sleep. The shower was a nightmare and the room very very basic, To top it off the hotel is in the middle of nowhere at the side of a mountain and the hotel can rip you off with drinks etc.. the breakfast is awful..no need to get up for it.. You cant even wander out for Coffee drink etc you have to get a Dolmus as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere.. The one positive i can say is the staff are very nice and helpful.

I organised this holiday to Kusadasi with five sisters and one niece. It was our first time taking a holiday together so i was really excited and looking forward to staying at the Sea Pearl as it had been given good reviews. When i first saw the location of the hotel I had my doubts as it is a ten minute journey into Kusadasi by Dolmus. The staff that greeted us were very helpful and attentive but my first impressions of the hotel were again very dubious. We were given our keys and i was sharing with two of my sisters so expected to be in a very large triple room. When we got out of the lift i immediately noticed the very poor state of the carpets. Dirty stains grubby in places and lifting from the edges. When we entered the room what a disapointment. The beds were like planks with no top sheet and very drab bed linen. An extra bed had been put in the room and the room was no bigger than my sisters next door who had two beds in their room. The furnishings were nothing to talk about. There were two old chairs up against a wall and only two chairs and a very small table on the balcony. There was water running out of the phone for some reason and the only phone we had was in the bathroom. The bathroom?? Where do i begin. No where to leave toiletries and a very small shower cubicle with fittings that can only be described as mouldy. There were green patches of mould and rust all along the shower hose and head. It was disgusting. Needless to say we complained the next day and after a lot of argueing we were moved to the sister hotel called the Palmin about 4 minutes away and what a difference. It was 20 times better but again be warned our four star hotels are only 3 stars in Turkey so if its a classy place you are after you better book into a 5 star as believe me i did enough searching the following day to see if we could find a nice place to stay and all the 4 star hotels there are only about a 3 star in Irish terms. I would not advise anyone to even think about staying in the Sea Pearl.

The Sea Pearl is one of several big package hotels in Kusadasi that seem to cater excusively for Irish guests. The whole area is full of Irish people, and everywhere you go you will see and hear things that remind you of home, even from the local Turks, who have equipped themselves with greetings like 'Conas atá tú' and 'awl rhyte?'
But if you don't mind that then Kusadasi is a nice spot to visit and the Sea Pearl a fine place to stay while there. The best things about the hotel are its views - every room has a balcony overlooking both the pool and the sea (into which you can watch the sun setting in the west) - and its food. We had dinner at the hotel a few nights and the food was excellent, with a great choice and massive portions. The bar also offers a fantastic range of cocktails!
Not so impressive however was the barbeque night, which we were told kicked off at 8pm but actually started nearer 7, leaving some of the food a bit cold by the time we got down.
The waiters at the hotel are top notch. They seem to work all day every day but always remain friendly and can't do enough for you.
Another big plus is the nightly entertainment that's laid on at the hotel, including the likes of Turkish dancing, comedy and magic shows, all very well prepared to keep both adults and children entertained.
The hotel also organises guided excursions to places of interest around Kusadasi, waterparks, Turkish baths, and even diving expeditions.
On the downside, the rooms aren't particularly well sound-proofed, so you might find it hard to sleep unless you have a few drinks in you.
The hotel has a policy of forbidding guests to bring in food or drinks bought outside the hotel, though we did not see this policy being enforced, despite hearing a few horror stories. There is a small fridge in the room if you want to keep your water or a few beers chilled but maybe you should conceal these in a rucksack on the way in. There is a small shop at the hotel where you can buy water and snacks but they don't sell any alcohol.
As for the location, there's nothing of any interest around the hotel, but Ladies Beach is only a 5-10 minute walk down the road. This is where you will also find the nearest ATM. The beach is a lot smaller than I expected and it's not all that clean either, but the sea is lovely. We heard that there are much nicer and less crowded beaches elsewhere in the area. There's also a bar and restaurant-lined prom at Ladies Beach, and while some of the restaurants are very good (Mona Lisa in particular), getting from one end of the prom to the other is made difficult by pushy reps trying to get you to stop for a drink or feed in their eatery.
To get into central Kusadasi itself you'll have to take a 'dolmus' (minibus), and if you thought the restaurant reps were in your face on Ladies Beach, that's really only the beginning! It's difficult to make 10 paces down town without being accosted by hard-sell shopkeepers almost dragging you into their store and pressurising you to part with your Lira (Euros will do in most places too). A real turn-off for many, this is nevertheless the Turkish way (with tourists anyway), part and parcell of the culture, and if you like bargain hunting and know how to haggle then you might find yoursef enjoying it after a while.
Either way, you'll be glad to watch the sun going down back at the Sea Pearl after it all! It is at the end of the day a lovely hotel, hard to fault, and I would stay there again, though maybe not in October, as the weather is quite changeable on Turkey's southwest coast at that time of year, and it can be quite cold in the early morning and late at night.

This is a very nice clean hotel.the service is superb and staff very friendly.our room was on the top floor, good size and clean but the curtains were very short and let light in at each end,not what you expect in a four star.our only complaint is that the nightly entertainment was very tacky with the same few entertainers every night,an older couple next to us could not get an early night as the entertainment was kept outside near the pool a little too late so wen would suggewst it be taken inside by 10.30 pm.also it would be great if breakfast went on an hour later in the mornings. we would go back for the weather, pool and location
