Stayed here for two weeks in May and have to say enjoyed ourselves and he hotel very much. Yes I would agree a bit pushy on the Bar B Q night but staff in general very nice and could not do enough for you one they get to know you.
I would recommend a visit to Suray restaurant in town also a close second is Golden Boys both have fablous food and will even pick you up free of charge from your hotel and drop you home.
All in All a nice place will def return and would have no problem recommending this place.

The hotel is clean and staff helpful although restuarant staff a little pushy esp about barbecue. However think it would be no harm for a 4star hotel to provide shower gels and renew soap supplies. Also they only supply 2 teabags and 2 coffee sachets on arrival. After that must be purchased from hotel shop and are very expensive. Also bed linen very skimpy.Apart from this entertainment good and food tasty if a little pricey. Also excellant dolmas service from just outside reception. We went on boat trip booked on Ladies Beach Brilliant day out and much cheaper than with rep. Also Mass at Our Ladies house which again we booked outside.Lovely experience and good atmosphere.Would go back

Biggest problem with the room was the key that switched all the electricity off including air conditioning and the fridge, this was a problem for us as we had to store baby food in the fridge. Standard items: warm blankets and second (thin) pillow and bed sheets were given only on request, shower head broken, sink blocked, bed changed once in two weeks...

Location - shuttle bus number 5 could get you to centre or to Ladies beach (not very impressive) for 2.5 lira, taxi for 10 so taxi works better for a family or group of 4 or 5. The beach near hotel is a bit small but nice, however very (I mean very) steep walk dawn (or up :-& ) is not looked after.

We found the food in the hotel fairly poor and over priced, don't order fish and chips at any cost, we were very disappointed to say the least. Breakfast was good though.

The staff showed great hospitality doing the best with the tools they were given (we got the impression that the bar tender could make better cocktails if given proper ingredients and bed sheets could be changed if one of the managers didn't have to be called each time it really needed to be done...).

Unusually we liked the pool area as our kids were too small to go to the beach, pity about the music..

We recommend All to try to explore the small streets in the old town of Kusadasi (off the green carpet streets) as we found great local bars and music there) as well as restaurants near the port - great selection of sea food and service.

The Bar street is all about flashing blue neon lights that doesn't offer any good music, see above.

We also think the entertainment in the hotel was a bit..well, tired and very repetitive, if you have you children, get the room that is not facing the pool.

Lastly, no matter how careful we were - we've got some sort of food/water poisoning at the end, so bring some relevant medicine (this is a general comment about the trip, not the hotel).

Just came back after a 2 week stay & it was every bit as good as last September. The staff are welcoming & friendly. We met people who were there the last time we stayed & it was like meeting old friends. The location is fantastic as the hotel looks directly over the sea & the sunsets are amazing. It is so good that we are booking to go back again with friends in September & we CAN'T WAIT,!!!!!! Keep up the good work Sunset Plaza.
