The rooms were very basic and the single sheet on the bed seemed to be too small.the bath towels were very old and threadbare. The week we stayed there we were woke up on two separate nights by a lot of noise from down by the pool

Just back from a lovely week at the Palmin Sunset Plaza, Our room was very spacious, we had a pool and sea view room which was lovely, great views, only down side front block could be noisy. pool view further back had no problems, but it was worth having pool view. Ladies beach 10-15 min walk away, great choice of bars/restaurants , Dolmus from outside hotel less than €1 to go anywhere. Over the week we ate breakfast , lunch , and dinner in the hotel, breakfast was basic but grand, Lunch and dinner great, no problems, good choice and good value.
We did three excursions and booked them with the rep. There was loads to do and see around Kusadasi
I would go back to Turkey and would stay here again. There is no lift in the complex. It was a shower over a bath in the bathroom
great value for money.
location quiet but everywhere was easy accessible
Just returned from a weeks stay in the sunset plaza we were a little nervous about our stay after reading some of the reviews.our room was fairly basic but spotless with good storage which helped as there was three of us .the beds were very hard but the sheets were changed twice during the week and they gave us plenty of extra pillows on request .the breakfast wasn't great the only thing worth eating was the omelletes and the bread was lovely.the pool area is really nice and we found all the staff to be really freindly and helpful except the staff in the little shop by the pool were unbelievably rude.we had a Turkish bath in the salon on site which was great but the facial for 65euro was awful and a waste of money.all an all we had a really nice stay and will give it another go next year
We didn't actually stay in this hotel but we stayed in the sister hotel, the Sea Pearl. We went to this hotel one evening and had a really good night. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Friends of ours were staying there and they had no complaints.
The room was spacious, beds are VERY uncomfortable and most guests I spoke to had trouble sleeping in them. Sheets were not changed once. Breakfast was very poor had to pay for english breakfast. Service very slow, bar staff were very very rude up to 5 minutes to take an order. The beach was a five minute walk down a very steep hill so anyone with back problems or children would find it a struggle. 65 euro for a massage and not worth the money deep tissue massage was not as advertised. Behind the bar I saw waiters fill up the glass with coke and not deliver the full bottle. Would not go back......
Rooms ok although house keeping is erratic... supposed to have beds changed every three days but ours didn't get done at all for the first week and then it was only after we had complained. Breakfast was varied every day but you need to make sure that you takes rolls from the back of the bowl if like me you prefer to have food that has not been pecked by the birds who fly in and out of the restaurant. BOOKING TRIPS through the rep is more expensive than booking yourself and its worth the walk to LADIES BEACH to see OZZIE ON THE CORNER, who does great deals on excursions. BROTHERS RESTAURANT and the SECRET GARDEN at LADIES BEACH are GREAT places to eat, superb hospitality and good food. Although the roads are rough which can make walking difficult, everywhere can be reached by dolmus which is less than one Euro each way per person and runs until midnight.
