I stayed in many different hotels, but Batihan exceed my expectations (in the worst meaning) we arrived late at night and was very tired; there was a massive queue in the reception and only 1 receptionist. It is took us about 1 hour to check in. You would not expect something like that in a 4 star hotel. The lobby looked grey and dark; I thought we came to the prison ( no decorations, no flowers as you would think will be in the Mediterranean country, furniture is dull grey colour and made from some kind of plastic) And all this is in the country which is proud of it wool, silk and cotton. We decided to give it another chance in the morning thinking we just tired and at the morning it is will be better. Not a hope, in the morning it was the same.
Lobby: horrible colour, plastic coaches, dark bar with no decorations or lights, no flowers
Rooms: grey colour, grey towels, hair dryer was not working, asked twice to fixed, and was not done. All housekeeping staff seems to be very busy smoking in the housekeeping office. Rooms were clean enough to stay there, but not good enough to be a 4 star hotel.
Breakfast: Just ok, very basic, 2 types of fruit only apples and plums. Surely i can eat apples in Ireland. There was a water melon, peach and grape season, I was surprised that have not see either of them.
Omelette was nice, cooked outside on the balcony.
We did not each any lunch inside, but met family who were All inclusive and their said it was very basic as well, poor choice of vegetables and fruits.
Evening meal was ok, nothing exiting. We ate outside most of the nights.
Pool was nice and big, enough space and very clean. Garden was lovely and spacious.
Beach was very clouse but very dirty as well. No one seem to care about it.
We went to try hotel hamam, very disappointed. We spend probably 7 minutes there and run away, sooo dirty you would afraid to catch some disease there.
Entertainment team was good, tried to encourage people to do something, but most of us wanted to relax around the pool and do nothing. Kids liked a lot.
One of our friend’s sons had an accident in the pool and we went to the reception for antiseptic wipe and the plaster, I was asked to pay €10 for 1 plaster and antiseptic wipe. I could not believe when i heard it from hotel manager that we have to pay for a first aid. Unbelievable.
I really like the country, it was my first visit to Turkey, but service in Spain or any Canary Islands is so good compare to that 4*??? Hotel. They should sell themselves as 2* budget accommodation and bring price down.

I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

the hotel wqas loverly and clean, same cant be said for the water tho, came out the top yellow!
entertainment team was fustraiting, to child like for e and poor casper(the best human alive)got constantly bullied.
i know i should think it but the hotel was full of germans who was rude consistantly.
priority seemed to be given to guests that was'nt all inclusive, these guest got dinner and drinks brought to them, we didnt and while i enjoyed the beer we had to ask the bar mad Ahmed( the star waiter of the hotel who looked and acted like mr bean) to make us a special when the management wasnt looking.

we meet a couple Antony and Kas who shared the same feelings and together in british grumpiness made the best of it..

there was wild cats and dogs roaming constantly which became wearsome, the buffet food was luke ward and a poor repatative standard.

the entertainment was poor/irritating being hasteled to play silly games.

there was plent to do pool/snooker, tennis, water polo, basketball, volley ball, watersports(extra) tabletennis. there was plenty but a a couple things became boring until we meet the other couple, in all perfect if there is 2 couples going you dont mind being 3rd class to germans and non all inclusives and dont mind the feeling that at every opportunity they wanted more money off you. for example a game of bingo was organised the tickeds was £8 and only one lady played. lol.
oh and the spar was excelent for me i got man handled by this crazy lady and loved it frankly i got about a hour of loverly massage/spanking (at no extra charge, lol) but my girlfriend in the same room got about 10 min rub down and watched me grin ear to ear, if your a man ask for the woman, if your a girl get the man to do it, lol

a little of a mixed review, had good points and bad. came back

we stayed here for 1 week at the start of October and i would definatley go back. The hotel is fantastic, so clean and the view from our room looked right out over the pool, gardens and beach We were all inclusive at the hotel and really had no reason to eat anywhere else as the food was lovely and there was plenty of it. the animation team were great fun, very friendly and always up for a laugh. Definatley recommened it and really hope to return there in the future

Hotel was lovely, we were given a room with a "view" over the street but for 5 euro extra per day we moved to a much nicer room with a sea view.
Rooms were clean and quite comfy (we got extra pillows) and the pool area was lovely.
The food in the hotel wasn't great so we ate every day in Mare's across the street which is really lovely and Ali and the guys there are really friendly.
The only thing we had a problem with was the animation team. They are really annoying especially when you just want to sit by the pool and relax. They provide the entertainment in the hotel at night too so we just went out every night. I think the hotel would be much better without them, and the terrible music they play all day by the pool!
We would definitely recommend the turkish bath in the hotel, it's really relaxing and your skin feels great after it. Also Ephesus is quite nearby and a taxi is about €50 which I would recommend instead of booking the day trip.
The dolmus goes into Kusadasi from across the street and is really cheap and has you in town in a few minutes, they do tend to drive a bit fast though, ha ha!
