“a good 4 star hotel”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Recently refurbished hotel, looks very nice nice, with an impressive lobby with comfortable seating, our room was clean and modern, very good bathroom. The spa and hamam also looks wonderful. Location excellent for sightseeing (Ephesus, St Mary's house, Priene etc) and not far from the town centre(10min by bus). Food was ok for a 4 star hotel, not much variety, but it was alright.. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, the animation team Bibo, Lena and the other guys were fun, they invite you to do some sports if you want to stretch a little (football, volleyball, water polo, whatever you fancy :-).
Great pools which overlook the beach, so nice and relaxing. One pool is quiet (by the main restaurant) , the other one by the reception is bigger and with music, overlooking the sea, i loved it. They also have a heated indoor pool by the spa, perfect for colder days.
The beach by this hotel is a bit narrow, with lovely sand, but ok if you want to have a dip in the sea. Overall, good value for the money. The only thing i would improve is the wifi range, as you can only get it in the lobby area.

The hotel is very clean, rooms are pretty good, clean and with new decor. There is free wifi available, although you will need to get a new passcode daily from the main reception. The people are very friendly and especially the animation team, they were excellent. I went with 4 families and we had an amazing time. All the kids had a great time and my daughter really got attached to one of the entertainers there, Lena. As for the food, well that was something else. The hotel catered a lot for German tourists and in turn the food was very bland. If you are used to spicy, full of flavour food then you won't find it here. Make sure you take a pack of chillies and a bottle of tobasco to give you some flavour. Also, if you are travelling with kids do take your own cereals as the local one's has a weird taste to it.
The beach is very clean and the pool is just the right size. The hotel has a huge amphitheatre that they use this in the peak seasons to provide for entertainment every night.
All in all it was a great vacation, the only downside is the food and lack of a concierge who was able to advice on local places to visit. Still with free internet you can find what you are looking for.
I do recommend staying at this hotel.

The room was clean, the service OK, the food adequate and on the surface it looks good, has everything a big hotel should so it's difficult to put a finger on just what is wrong with this hotel.

The room furnishings are modern but veneer and plastic, can't see them lasting, and what's with those colour-changing lights beneath the bedside tables. Can't really comment on outdoor facilities as didn't use but some looked a little tired. The restaurant was like eating in a large factory canteen and, overall, the place had all the atmosphere of an airport transit lounge. Undoubtedly poular (see other reviews) but not for me.

We visited at the beginning of the season and it was spacious with plenty of outdoor space for everyone. A local bus ( number 1) runs every 15 mins to Kusadasi.
There is an extensive variety of food and should accommodate all diets and tastes.
WiFi access is rather costly at 5 euros a day

We stayed here for 3 days as part of a tour of ancient sites arranged by Newmarket Holidays (UK). On the outside the hotel looked luxurious and the room was spacious with a good bathroom. But after these positive first impressions, it was clear that the hotel didn't live up to its 5-star ratings. For example: (1) The plug in our sink would not close; (2) On our first day our room had not been made up when we returned at 4.00pm; (3) Despite the front desk telling us there was a safety deposit box in the room, there wasn't; (4) There was no separate switch for the bedside light on my wife's side of the bed. these were the small things. Our major complains were, first, the food, which was always a buffet and lukewarm with only a few uninspiring main dishes. I can sympthise with the person who ate elsewhere on all occasions (we did on our last night after 3 nights of the hotel food). The sweet/pudding selection was depleted early on, leaving a poor choice for those eating after 8.00pm. The only freshly cooked option at breakfast (eggs) didn't start till 8.00am. Our other main complaint was the noise from the open-air disco below our room: this was very loud and although it finished at 11.00 we had a couple of early starts (very early at 2.00am on day).

Altogether it's a poor introduction to Turkish beach hotels for us. We'll stick to our favourite hotel across the water in Greece in future.

John Archer (& Odile Archer)

Room Tip: Go for one not overlooking the pool as this is where the disco is.

My wife and I have just returned from spending 10 excellent days in Tusan beach resort. We asked to be put in a top floor with a sea view(recommended) and were given a choice if not satisfied with the allocation. We always chose the top floor and sea facing because of the view and the crashing noise of the waves. We had plenty of that from room no 5519.Inclusive really means what is advertised. The food was excellent with more than courteous waiters and grill chefs and drinks were always available in the restaurant, bars and veranda.Snack of beef burgers, toasted cheese sandwich were available from 10 to 5pm just in case you missed breakfast or Lunch on your day out.The outdoor swimming pool(indoor not yet available) was of a very high standard and no sooner than you entered the area the attendant provided cushions and and umbrella if required. The animaters leader with his team organised games etc if you wanted to take part. The hotel is ideally situated to visit Ephesus ,priene,Meletos and Didyma if you were interested in archiology (cant spell it) .These sites can be easily be visited going by the local bus which stop just outside the hotel for Ephesus (no 1 -4tl)and Kusadasi (no 1 bus -2.5tl).Entrance to Epheses site is 25tl and they accept tl only.To visit the other amphitheatre you have to go into Kusadasi firstly the take the bus from the bus terminal to wherever.DON NOT TAKE HOTEL TOURS.-In my opinion it is the ideal place to take children because they are well catered for by The animators who are ablely led by COCO ,BIBI ,HELENA and John's DAUGHTER(can't remember her name)You can just sit by the pool without worrying about the children .Even after dinner they have activities.so sitting in the spacious bar or the veranda is stressless.
TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!!!!I I am not paid to write this review so I could be as critical or complimentary as I like.I feel that my wife and I had such a lovely 11 days that I feel oblidged to pass on the experience. Our flight was at 10pm so we booked the hotel for another day with the agent and that was really good value for money because you had meals and drinks until the coach picks you up ay 7pm.
On the buffet style food I would recommend go for the fresh griddle chicken, stake, fish and lashiings of salad, wash it down with a glass of beer or wine then retire to the lounge for coffee and by the way before dinner try the cocktail as an aperitif.ALL THIS FOR £850 FOR 11 DAYS FOR 2 PEOPLE including flight and pick up.GO FOR It!!!!!!!!We will be back next year for sure.
By the way my wife bought(I paid for it)a beautifull necklace(my wife said so -I had to agree) with matching ear rings and bracelit initialy priced at £250 but as it was REAL fake it was purchase for £120.SO WATCH THE BARTERING.(had it valued this morning in London and it was a bargain).
Ps We got together with 8 people and hired a driven airconditioned minibus from 9.30 to 17.30 for £120 euros to visit the sites at Priene,Meletos and Didyma-well worth it -could not do it by the local bus in a day. -----------Harry and Margaret Latchu

Stayed here for four nights in early April. We had two double rooms side-by-side for a family of four. Slightly inconvenient. Rooms were large, airy, and very clean, with freshly renovated bathrooms. Lots of hot water. Outside of hotel is not pretty, but views are lovely. Inside of lobby is bright with lots of comfy seating and large windows. Our only complaint? The food which was beautifully presented, ample, and lackluster in taste! The desserts were especially bad. Breakfast was probably the best meal with lots of fresh breads and fried eggs prepared on the spot. All three daily meals had lots of mezzes and salads and a selection of hot dishes that changed for each meal, but nothing really tasted good. Location is excellent for visiting Ephesus, Priene, Metallus, and Didyma. Staff very friendly. Front desk not talkative, but helpful if asked. Our waiter Celal Dalmar was especially kind.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view. "Lake" view face a drainage pond (though pretty) and nearby aquapark...
