Take the local bus, this allows time to visit at your own pace. Audio guides will help you throughout this vast site. As one is likely to spend 3 hours and it can be very hot, take some water with you.

It's a must if you're anywhere near the area.it is truly an authentic archaeological site, you can just wander & wonder at it all. We spent 2 hours & didn't see it all. Just go early or when the cruise ships aren't in town, there can be massive amounts of people. It is still a working site, the excavations are amazing.

Starts off with what simply appears to be stones and fallen pillars, but then it grows into a city with a gladiator arena. The stories and information from the tour guide brought the place to life. So glad we visted this amazing historical place.

Our third visit and we find something new and different each time.

One word of warning, it is far more crowded than our last visit 10yrs ago, you need to arrive early and, if possible, avoid a day when any cruise ships are in Kusadasi.
