Are in Kusadasi.
We were out fixing our day tours and happened to ask the agent for a good place to have lunch before starting on our Efes tour.
He told us to try Bulbul Restaurant.
We are an Indian family of four. The place is very simple, the guys don't speak much English but we cud get by.
Ordered Iskander kebab, shish tavuk and chicken pide.
The kebab (beef) was very good. There was thick bread broken into bits, yoghurt poured onto it, then shredded meat with sauce to top it. And some rice on the side - so it took care of everything.
The shish tavuk - boneless chicken grilled to perfection, well done yet juicy, was lovely. That too was served with nice hot crispy fries.
There were 2 plates of fresh green salad (lettuce, cabbage and tomatoes) served on the house.
The pide was ok, or I guess we were too full with the other things to really enjoy it.
If around there, give it a try, worth it.
And its all Halal, if that matters to you.
