Just got back from a week at the Paloma Rina, it wasn't the best holiday we have had, but that was the fault of the tour operator not the hotel. On arrival check in was a bit slow, please be aware you will need to give £20 breakage deposit, this held up check-in as some people were not aware. The rooms were basic as I would expect and conisted of the following. Main sitting area consisting of table and chairs, 2 chair beds, television and kitchen area consisting of sink, two ring hob, fridge, kettle and coffee maker. The bedroom was off this are with a twin or double bed, dressing table, wardrobes, a safe and a ceiling fan. The bathroom was to a good standard, bath with shower over, toilet and sink and plenty of towels. There was also a balcony with a table and chairs. Unfortunately we ended up with a land view, not particularly great, will upload a picture. things got worse due to the noise from a nearby night club where the music went on until 4am, preventing us from getting much sleep for the first few nights. Be warned the music was loud, even with the windows closed. Got a move to another room, still a land view but further along, music could still be heard but not as bad. Rooms with the pool view would be prefereable, this are the even numbers, odds are the land view rooms.
There were four of us in our room including two young children who slept on the chair beds. I would bot recommend this arrangement for groups with older children as it could get a bit cramped. Excellent location for getting into town, just a short walk away. Town beach nearby is ok, but can be a bit dirty. Definately recomment the Turkish BBQ night, really good value for money excellent food and some great entertainment. Pool is great for everyone, including children, but be aware of the tiled floors which can be slippery. The poolside bar had good range of drinks, but I felt it was a bit expensive, and they don't like you taking your own drinks to the pool. On the day we checked out, we had the use of another room from 3pm for taking a shower and getting changed for those with late flights, but be warned there was a lengthy queue for this room so don't rely on it. On the whole I was glad we booked this hotel rather than some of the others we had looked at. Staff very friendly and very helpful.
