My boyfriend and i have just got back from Kusadasi, we stayed at the Rosy Apartments basicaly bacause we read the reviews from other people staying at the Rosy and were all good, i think they must have been paid to do it, Our room was quite dirty the maid came in twice in the week we stayed, we had to pinch towels and toilet roll form the maids trolly when she left it unattended, I got bitten 25 times by mozzies, i had extra strenght spray & a plug in yet every morning i woke up with a few more fresh bites.
We found the prices have more than doubled since i was there 3yr ago, meals and drink seemed to be more expensive than england, we found much better places in the centre of kusadasi (only a 10min bus ride away for £1) Traditional turkish places that cost half the price.

We spent there 3 nights as we could not stay more! Rooms are very welcoming, very well finished, spacious and clean, there is also a nice kitchen coin to prepare breakfast (not included) that you can have on your private terrace or in the big public one. Bathrooms are clean and nice and, WOW, you have space to put your staff!! Hot water and lift. The location is beautiful as almost faces the beauty Lady's beach. Reception is open 24h a day. An excellent value/money balance (maybe the best one we found in our trip in Turkey). A nice pool is available. Rooms at the 3rd floor are better and bigger (our one was an apartment) as do not faces the road where there is some noise in the night (until late).

I feel that some of the reviews left on this website have been writen by the staff from the Rosy Hotel. I say this because no one we met while we were there were all that impressed with it. We booked two weeks self catering, self catering is stretching it. There was one ring to cook on and a kettle. We recieved one toilet roll and were told we would have to buy them ourselves after that was used up. I have never experienced this on any other self catering holiday. The rooms at the hotel were supposedly cleaned every three days, however the cleaner didn't really clean the room, just changed the sheets. We experienced many other geusts complaining however far from offering any customer service the stroppy young girl in charge of reception sought to argue with geusts suggesting that eveyone complaining were wrong and being akward, and that she was right. At ine point they presented me with a bill that had originally been made out to another room, however when the geusts of the proved that they had not had the drinks detailed on the bill, then the rosy staff crossed off that room number and put our room number on it instead. The problem with this was that we had been away from the hotel all day and had not taken any drinks in the bar. Again the stroppy young girl at reception didn't take kindly to this and showed this clearly in her mood during the situation and never once made any attempt to appologise. The Rosy restaurant was far from reasonably priced, in fact almost the whole strip of restaurants along ladies beach were selling ok food at at prices comparible to restaurants here in the UK. Now don't get me wrong i'm not a cheap beggar, but there is a point to going abroad to somewhere like Turkey and that is because you can eat nice food at a reasonable price and eat out. This has certainly been lost on the business community of Kusadasi.

The restaurants in the centre of town where alot of the Turkish people eat are different again we had some Lovely meals at very reasonable price in town, and staff were lovely and welcoming. Finally BE AWARE OF BODRUM AIRPORT. For a slice of pizza a can of drink and a few chips it was £10, and the food is terrible. A can of coke on its own was £4. When i expressed surprise at this the staf again try to pick an argument with you. Bodrum airport is the most disgusting afront to customer service that i have ever experienced. The sentiment is very much if you haven't brought any food with you and you need to eat then we are going to rip you of royally. Postives are sun is plentiful the bay is lovely, however on the whole would say try another part of Turkey.

My husband and I stayed at Rosy Studios from end of June till beginning of July. We were given a room on the 1st floor, with an inland view. The room is very basic, we weren't expecting alot for what we paid - £5 per night per person (through a travel agency). Yes this is very cheap but when you travel self catering you expect to have some decent facilities to cook with. We were given 1 tiny little pan which just about fried 1 egg in it and it was NOT non stick, we were given mugs which the handle broke off all of them. We were also given a knife which broke while cutting soft bread. So my husband and I ended up buying items to cook with.
With regards to the room, the floor was always dirty even when it was cleaned by the cleaner, the floor just seemed to attract alot of dust and also the room was covered in dead mosquitoes - yes if you go do take some insect repellent as there are alot of mosquitoes i couldn't sleep well some nights as I kept getting bitten.
Overall, i wouldn't recommend this hotel. it is a real pain, I'd rather pay more and be comfortable.
