We used Ephesus Shuttle when we had a cruise excursion. I emailed over 25 tour companies and even taxi companies and this was the best deal! They had the best prices and best reviews on Tripadvisor. Whenever I emailed for information I received quick helpful responses back.
When we arrived in Kusadasi from our cruise ship there was someone waiting with our name on a sign. We then were quickly escorted to a large a/c van for just me and my husband. Our guide was young and spoke English very well and he even grew up in the town Ephesus is in so it was neat hearing what it was like to grow up right by Ephesus and watch the process of it being discovered more and more each year. We decided on the spot to go to the Terrace Houses since we had more time than we realized and he was totally flexible and understanding and had tickets on him so we could tour the Terrace Houses as well. We had extra time at the end so he drove us over to see what is left of the Temple of Artemes and to see the outside of the Basilica of St. John. He offered to take us to a rug making demonstration but we didn't want to and he was fine with that. They gave us a small box of Turkish delight at the end also.
We usually don't spend this much on private tours and usually always take public transportation and use Rick Steves audio guide tours for cheap, but since we were on a cruise and only had 4 hours we knew we had to find someone who would drive us directly there quickly since it is far from Kusadasi. (We would have been happy taking the small group tour with this company to save money, but the times didn't work with our cruise).
The only disappointment was that he didn't know much at all about the Christian history of Ephesus which is why we came to see it, but we just re-read parts of Acts about Paul's trip here on our own before we got there and researched it more ourselves later.
