Erzincan offers an extensive menu featuring most of the Turkish staples. Our mixed pide and Iskender kebab were tasty, though a little under seasoned, and I thought the portions were skimpy for the price. The patio setting was pleasant, but next time I'm in Kusadasi, I think I'd rather try my luck at one of the cheap kebab stands.

My daughter an I were introduced to this restaurant by a local merchant when we asked him where we could find the best authentic Turkish meal in Kusadasi. We were on a shore excursion for the day and really wanted to try the food, and while the food on our cruise ship was very good, I have to say our meal here was my favorite food experience of the entire trip. They bake their own bread and it comes to you strait out of the oven. We ordered the clay pot which is filled with meat and veggies. They bring it to your table while it is still in flames, where they break the clay pot and serve up the wonderful meal inside. The food was very good, the courtyard seating area is very relaxing, and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you are happy. The restaurant is a bit hard to find, but well worth it.

We looked for a restaurant away from the tourist shops, in the hope of getting a real Turkish meal, and down a back street we found Erzincan. We sat in a shady courtyard with excellent service and enjoyed a unique meal. Testi kebab is a meat & vegetable mixture cooked in a sealed clay pot in a wood-fired oven; when ready the pot is brought to your table, still flaming, and the top is knocked off by your waiter, who then serves the meal onto your plate. It was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed it with Turkish tea & freshly made bread from the same oven. A lovely experience!

We found this place after a many time visitor recommended it, I loved the walled garden. We visited in October and had the colder, wettest break, but in the walled garden one could sit in the sun and think of warmer days. We all really enjoyed the potted speciality, all the meals we had were delightful and reasonably priced.
A cruise ship came in whilst we were there and some Americans ordered cocktails. The gentleman ordered a Pina Colarda when it arrived it was green? The waiter said they do not have cream.....lesson learnt do not order cocktails, keep to the wine.....lol.
The staff were very attentive and friendly and I loved the fresh hot large round flat bread

We sought out this restaurant after reading about it on a forum of where to eat in Kusadasi and, as expected, it was difficult to find, but well worth the effort. We also had the picture on the wall which consisted of beef, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and herbs all put into a clay pot, sealed, and cooked in the oven. They bring the pot to your table and then crack it open to reveal this amazing stew which just melted in the mouth. Prior to that they brought us this amazing pitta bread which nearly took up the whole of the table, hot and puffy straight from the oven, delicious. A lovely meal and wine was enjoyed by all and a memorable end to our week in Kusadasi. They should be No.1 on Trip Advisor for sure.
