We had a great lunch at this restaurant during our stop to Ephesus, while on a 12 day cruise. The meal was amazing and staff very friendly. We will come back. 1 block from the cruise pier

We visited this restaurant having read Trip Advisor and were welcomed by the manager and shown to a table of our choice. It seemed fairly authentic and although early in the night, a few tables were occupied. Many locals arrived later on. We enjoyed the meal and thought the service was very good. The toilets were clean, to me, an important consideration.

Two of us had a selection of mezze dishes which were very good, particularly with the fresh bread from the wood fired oven. We were also given two complimentary starters. We also shared a lamb shish, which was served with rice and salad. It was well cooked and delicious. We were also offered complimentary coffee tea and Turkish delight. With 2 glasses of wine 90tl, which was fairly high for Turkey generally.

We got into the restaurant because of the boss/staff's passionate welcome, though we doubted a bit at first, especially when we saw the menu, the price is not cheap compared to other places. However, when we had our starters, the pancake/bread wowed us, it's the best we had in Turkey, freshly made and hot. Main course portion is big too! Very delicious! What's more surprised is after we had our meal, we checked the restaurant on Tripadvisor and realised it's the Top 3 restaurant in Kusadasi(normally we check and go), so it was really lucky that the random picked restaurant was so good. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our lunch here after a bit of shopping in the bazaar - we took a bit of a flyer and realised this place was close by and decided to call in, it's very unassuming but we're so glad we did!
It's a family run place and the shop next door with the nuts and spices is in the same ownership, more on that later!
We were shown round what was available for starters and for kebabs - so we ordered the hummus, red pepper dip and a spicier dip plus gorgeous freshly baked Turkish flat bread then a spicy shish kebab plus a melt in your mouth lamb kebab - it was all delicious and i washed my meal down with an excellent Turkish white wine and my husband had a beer! We shared a Turkish flan dessert which was nice but not as nice as ones we had had in Istanbul last year!
After our meal - we went to the shop next door and nearly overdosed on samples of fresh nuts, Turkish delight etc - we bough some delicious sesame coated peanuts which we've just finished today!
I'd go back there again - loved it! :)
