“Kebabs- This is where it's at!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2012

After finishing a fantastic tour of Ephesus, one is ready for some good Turkish food. We were on a cruise but had no intention of returning to the ship for lunch.
Our guide suggested we go to a particular carpet shop which would give us a good grounding in Turkish carpets without a hard sell and just around the corner was probably the best kebap restaurant in Kusadasi.
Everything they brought was outstanding! Aside from a lamb, chicken and a beef kebab plate with side dishes, I can't name all the other food the waiter brought. But we sure do talk about one of the best meals we had on our "cruise" Great for a casual lunch!

“Not bad”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2012

This restaurant is a typical Turkish Lokanta situated in the old town of Kusadasi.
The staff are friendly enough, the food basic, not bad if you are hungry and need something quick for lunch.
Would not recommend this place for dinner, there is a nicer establishment on the same street.

“not pricey, but unbecoming of a sitdown restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2012

Friendly and helpful staff, food didn't break bank, nice location, but food tasted like Turkish fast food, I expected better from a sitdown. Adana kebab was bland, salad was semi tasteless. Yoghurt was tasty, red sauce pretty good. Wife got "pide" with bland cheese and same Adana, not bad, I liked it better than my dish. I should have gone for the lamb kebab. I've been a not dissapointed by the food throughout Turkey, of the 3 Turkish restaurants that I have near me in NY I would take 2 of them over the entire weeks cuisine here any day. If you want the best Turkish food, visit NY. Either try something else on the menu at Oz Urfa or take a chance somewhere else
