This was our fourth Turkish hotel and proved to be excellent. We went the whole hog and booked suites. On arrival our daughters room was a little away from us but the adjoining room became vacant after 2 days and the girls were moved with grace. The rooms were large, with 2 bedrooms, lounge and 2 bathrooms. We also had a huge balcony.Maid service was excellent. To get prime spots at the pools, which are large, there was some incentive to be up early! The beach, however, always had vacant space in prime spots and was the best beach we have come across on our Tirkish trips.
We felt the staff were excellent and in fact, very well managed and trained to high standards. Our waiters and waitresses were unfailingly polite, helpful and full of fun with the children.
The only blemish on the whole stay was idiotic parents putting non trained toddlers in the wave pool, who promptly left a large deposit!! One can hardly blame the hotel for that!
The water park and slides are not for the faint hearted but were well supervised.
One daughter had her 18th birthday during the holiday and the a la carte restaurant provided a memorable setting and a very good meal.
A special mention to our Thomsons rep, Henry , who was first rate.
One other point was that the hotel across the road was very noisy at night but thankfully it did not go on too late.

Room Tip: Pay for a suite

Having spent two weeks at this hotel 14th sept - 28th Sept 2012 if this is Plainum quality what on earth are lower graded hotels like. Our room was very basic, the built in furniture was damaged and very, very basic. We booked a double room and were confronted with a double mattress on two single bases, not condusive to restfull nights!!
Thank goodness we found the adults only area of the restuarant as there were hoards of unruly children causing mayhem in the main restuarant area whenever we visited. Unfortunately we were obliged to clear our own tables in the adult area on most visits as there did not appear to be staff allocated to do this.
All of the pool areas had small adult only areas, but these were not sufficently remote to afford us any respite from the noisy, unruly under 16's. The entertainment was aimed at this age group and there was no adult only bar area. On most evenings we gave up and went to our room early as we could not hear the supposed adult entertainment that commenced around 9pm due to the continued presence of so many uner 16's in these areas.
However the hotel was clean and the public areas are pleasant and well maintained. The food is wonderful, there is plenty of choice and plenty of it.

So if you want a relaxing break this is definitely not the hotel for you. If you are happy to be surrounded by hoards or unruly children causing mayhem until the early hours then this is definitely the hotel for you.

Not hotel related but still relevant if you book with Thomson as we did. We had a flight delay of almost 20 hours, which was not handled well, we were not kept informed and were unable to access support from the reps when we most needed it.

Just got back from this hotel and got very disappointed. We have stayed here 2 years ago and it was fantastic so decided to go back. Despite having an amazing facilities and location there was nothing else left. Untrained and short of staff, non existent service at meal times, no room service! Just totally different then it was 2 years ago. The variety of food is poor, chefs were always busy cooking but never in time for us unless you wait by each dish for 10-15mins. We have stayed for 7days and never had a clean table, or enough cutlery. Suntopia don't seem to use spoons at all unless they have a great sense of humour entertaining the guests with catch me if you can cutlery games. Baklava 2 years ago was the best I have ever tasted but now seems like it was made by Syrian refugees. Room was never cleaned in 7days: sheets not changes, toilet not cleaned, only towels changed now and then. Overall the facilities are still 10/10 but all the rest unfortunately gone down to 6/10. Disappointed and don't think we go back again.

We booked through First Choice and the hotel was exactly as described in the brochure. Rooms were basic but adequate for 2 adults and my 12 year old daughter. the local resort had no restaurants although if you want to eat out the local buses are cheap to Manvagat and Side. Entertainment not great in the amphitheatre which was pretty uncomfortable for a long show. Local Larger on tap although pretty weak. The pools and slides were good and plenty of sun beds. All in all I would recommend this hotel for a family holiday

had nice holiday, only thing that spoilt it was that we didnt expect 1000 kids running around the place in september, but as this must be the peak holiday time for our German friends then we will go adults only next year, they basically could not keep their kids under control and were so ignorant, kids flying into you and spilling food, screaming so loud it gave me tinnutus, using their hands to scoop the ice cream-disgraceful ,even at night they would still be running around in the bar area-

Room Tip: avoid foreign families with screaming kids

I have just returned from the Seven Seas Imperial and had a lovely relaxing week. The grounds are beautiful and there were plenty of places to sunbathe, pools, beach or grassed areas and no bother getting sun beds. The food was fine, but sometimes there were not enough plates, bowls or cutlery and you had to ask and wait while they were brought out. The rooms are very modern but the shower and toilet had an opaque glass door and glass panel so that you could see the outline of anyone showering - strange!! The beds were fine but we only had one bottom sheet and one cotton cover. I got two top sheets but each time the maid took them off the beds and folded them. When the sheets were replaced we never got back the top sheets - again bizarre. The entertainment wasn't great and finished quite early, although there were games/bingo etc at the pool bar after the show, which were a bit boring and the poor entertainer worked hard, alone, to get everyone to take part. There was a problem with mosquitoes and I was bitten about 20 times on each leg, mainly whilst sitting on the terrace in the evening. I booked this holiday last minute so got a good price but overall I did enjoy it.
